About this listen

Dior moves to a new city for a fresh start. After losing her mom at a young age and dealing with the scars left behind, she struggles with more than skin-deep insecurities.

Enzo is rebuilding his life after being released from prison. As a successful business owner, he's ready to settle down and start something real.

When he and Dior collide, the two instantly feel a spark, but Enzo doesn't realize that Dior is more damaged than meets the eye. Will he be able to help her out of her shell and show her what real love looks like?

Dakota and Sawyer have been on and off for a while now. While Sawyer is sure Dakota is where he wants to be, she holds doubts. He doesn't know how to set boundaries with his child's mother and it causes issues in his present relationship. When he's threatened with the loss of Dakota for good, Sawyer realizes it's time to make some changes, the only issue is it may be too late.

Join these two couples on a journey of Imperfect Love and see how the ride plays out in the end.

I loved this book and the narrators. Dior and Enzo really touched me. I liked Kota and Sawyers story as well .

thank you.

We need more books on black love like this. Im a truck driver and I drive for hours everyday so find a good book and finishing it to the end isn't always easy. Imperfect love is so good when I stopped for my ten hour break I kept listening.

Love is patient

Two stories about love, family, trauma, and a messy baby momma. Enzo seemed much older than his big brother. I liked Sawyer's character but it's sad that another person has to point out what's blatantly obvious to everyone around you. I loved to see Dakota stand her ground and call Sawyer out. I also loved the way that Enzo gave every aspect of himself to Dior. Enzo should give out classes on how to love. You don't want to miss out on the dynamics of book!

Loved this story

I loved this story of two cousins finding love with brothers. It was really a good story with just the right amount of drama, awareness, and ultimately forever love.

The between Enzo Deory

the book was great, but I would have loved to know what Deory's dad didn't want her.

Missed the Mark

I’m a huge Tay Mo’Nae fan but I feel this book missed the mark. Specifically, the narration wasn’t that great and the story line didn’t intrigue me. Maybe if the characters weren’t so young I would be a little more into it.
