About this listen

Zahi was young and living life to the fullest. Then, he was thrust into fatherhood and forced to change his outlook on life, love, and happiness.

The self-proclaimed bachelor did not expect to be swept up in emotions he'd never felt. However, caring for his daughter, Zuri, charged a part of his heart that he thought was dead. The spark awakened a need for more out of life.

From the moment he laid eyes on India, he was drawn to her. The pull was so intense, and no matter how many times he told himself to stay away from her, he just couldn't follow his own command. Zahi was bewitched.

India is young, smart, and career-driven. Graduating college at sixteen left India with loads of book knowledge, but when it came to actually living as an adult, she operated behind the curve. When Zahi enters her life, India gets a crash course in learning about her body and the feelings that come along with being swept up by a charismatic and charming man. She hopes she can keep up and not be swept away by emotions she's never experienced.

Zahi and India's connection starts off sweet and romantic, but when the heat between them is dialed up, their romance becomes scorching. Join them on their fun, sexy, and emotional journey.

What I love about this book is everything. The way Z saw India before he knew who she was. The love from a black man, the comfortability Z(lil Z) assured India. Z wasn’t a typical Muslim man, he stood by his sister when their parents didn’t approve of Zane relationship with a man who is older. Z took accountability and responsibility when he found out he had a child.

Very exciting book and romance. I need a chapter 2.

Shay Davis you've done it AGAIN ma'am!! Just finished, such a good job. Great story.....of course very HAWT!!! Zahi was cold-blooded as hell in that hospital tho....lol. Loved that even tho India wasn't very experienced she wasn't really that shy and reserved. Great pacing and comic relief.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💦💦💦💦💦

I enjoyed Shay first time and it was awesome. Zahi was straight up with his Country Slang... India is a treasure to behold with obstacles she faced as a child. Great book I wanted more wedding children did they parents accept him back?

Love the female narrator the male narrator not so much. needs to work on his dirty South accent. it kind of took away from the story and I wanted a little more details for the ending. The ending was kind of rushed when they killed off the two characters.

Please won't tell Soul on my but I am smitten by Zahi. That country twang turned me on. This book was a cute Zahi and Indi was so sweet together. They are both smart driven computer nerds that touch your heart. I love how Zahi really thought about his decisions and wanted to be better and do better. The narrator's performance was so good. Enjoyed this book.

Smitten

There wasn’t enough development in the story regarding the parents or India’ s adoption for me. I also felt the author could have done a little more regarding India being a child prodigy and being raised by rich white people. Overall the story was a decent listen.

Ok Story
