Something has waited....

And it will do everything in its power to destroy everything they know and hold dear....

Interesting and captivating story

I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone looking for a good mystery. Lesley Braun does a very good job narrating. Her voice changes for the various characters helps distinguish between the characters.

Exciting, interesting suspense story

This is the first time I’ve listened to an audible book by this particular author. I found the story intriguing. Couldn’t stop listening. Wanted to know what was going to happen next.
The narrator did an excellent job with the various voices. Her accents were perfect for the area. Her tones kept me wanting more.

In the house of wolves

I could not put this book down! The Wolfs lived in a house. They lost their son and mom ended up in a mental ward. What really happened? There could have been a bit more fleshing out of this story, but I loved it anyway. Lesley Braun was a fine narrator,if you could get past her odd up and down sentences.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Not Just a Haunting

This is not my usual horror or werewolf book and was just ok. At time it was a bit confusing and got interesting towards the end. It is definitely a psychological thriller. Sam was very likable character, loved Merlyn felt sorry for Stephen and Axl. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

In the House of Death

This was an interesting story, I thought I was getting a werewolf story, but go something much different. For the most part I wouldn’t label this book as a suspenseful thriller. Didn’t really think that there was much horror to it until the last thirty minutes or so. Nonetheless, I rather enjoyed the story as I found it quite unique and entertaining.

Stephen and Samantha are quite broken following the loss of their son. The mystery around what happened and the path to understanding it takes both of them on a strange journey. I really liked Samantha as a character and liked tagging along with her on her journey. Merlyn was by far my favorite and I think he totally outshined everyone else. I did think that the story did jump around a bit at the time I was listening it, but felt better about it after finishing it. I will say that I wanted Arby’s curly fries with Arby’s sauce for a few days after starting this book.

Leslie Braun did a good job with the narration. I liked her character voices and overall narration. Felt that the cadence wasn’t always natural for some of the spoken dialogue. She definitely added a lot of emotion and energy into the story and really breathed life into the story.

An Awesome Listen

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. Not much can affect you as much as a lost of a child. For Sam, it put her life on hold as she rebuild her mind after her son's death. Little did she know that her life could get worse and stranger when she returns to her house. A house that homes evil itself. A suspenseful plot and well written character enhance this story that will grab you and keep you listening long after you should have turned it off. Though you may want to keep the lights on while you listen.

Just didn’t do it for me

I really tried to like this book but just couldn’t. It was all over the place. It was extremely creepy but what really destroyed the book for me was the narrator. Every other word she pronounced ended with an (a) sound...do(a), you(a), find(a). Like nails on a chalkboard.
