About this listen

He's no saint.

Dover "Collector" Ragnes rides with only five brothers at his back. Nomads with no place to call home, they never stay in one place too long. Together, they are the Devil's Due MC, and their only purpose is to serve justice their way for unsolved crimes everywhere they go.

She's not afraid to call herself a sinner.

Emerson Flint still remembers the loss of her elementary school best friend. She is all grown up, but the memories still haunt her of the missing girl. Surrounding herself with men at the tattoo shop, she never questions her safety. Her life is her art. Her canvas is the skin of others.

Will Dover overcome the history he shares with Emerson in time? Will Emerson lead him to the retribution he has always sought?

Good, but not Great

First, narration was great, no complaints! The story was a little choppy and rushed at times, and the resolution seemed a little too... convenient, maybe? Hard to explain, but it just seemed like a lot of coincidences and manufactured drama (esp between the h and her mentor... totally unnecessary).

Overall, it was good, but I'm not sure I want to pay for the next installment... the first was in the Romance package, but the rest of the series isn't, which is a shame.

Short Fast Read

Alpha MMC and a strong FMC with childhood history. There was mystery, drama, no cheating, a HFN ending and no epilogue. Needed more depth to story.Narrators were great.

It was just OK

The storyline was ok. Nothing explosive happened that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was rather bland aside from the vulgarity spewed from the mouth's of bikers. Vulgarity rarely bothers me but the way it was done in this book kind of annoyed me.

Mind you, the narrators did a great job with the material that were dealt. Hopefully, the next book has a little more excitement in it. Thankfully it is part of the romance package and I don't have to use a credit. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother lostening to it.

A fast paced, adrenaline fueled, emotional story.
Aiden Snow and Kendall Taylor were fantastic narrators for this thrilling journey. They brought these intense characters to life.

🌻Could have been so much more!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

This was a touching short story about a group of men that ride and work together, in hopes of making amends for their past sins. They investigate unsolved crimes and punish the offender with their vigilante justice.
The crime they solve involve the rape, torture and murder of a nine year old girl.
The author tells an outline, of what could have been, a really powerful story. It’s an ok Escape Package listen but definitely not worth a credit.

Not bad of a start

This story wasnt bad at all. Lots of triggers for sexual abuse of children. The crudeness if the bikers is different from what I'm used to, but I'm thinking it is a better representation of the lifestyle. Not all bikers are romantic, respectful and sweet talking dudes. Some call women they fuck easily bitches, talk about their cocks and are explicit with each other. I will give the 2nd book a chance to determine how much I like this series. But overall a good story, good pacing and great fucking

Fell short and female narrator wasn't a great fit

The premise of the book was really, but the execution didn't deliver so much. First off, there should have been trigger warnings for the graphic nature of the topics covered.

For the length of the book, the early part took up too much of the book. I wished the author had invested more into the actual romance. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The characters took a very long time to start to like. I'm not sure if I much care about most of them by the end except for the old man. He's authentic and great.

The H is sooo bitter his dialog at times is over the top at times and weird at other times. Just felt like the dialog was trying too hard. 😬

The h was a strong woman most of the time but then the complete opposite would rear up and throw you off. So, I just felt frustrated or annoyed when the h didn't meet up to the image painted in the earlier part of the book. 😒

As for the mystery, it was solid but all the main characters openly discussing their suspicions in the same space as the potential bad guy???? Repeatedly??? 🙄🙄

Kendall Taylor is awful. Ruins the story.

Aiden Snow is wonderful as always. Kendall Taylor's high pitch voice and inability to narrate a male character means I won't be listening to any of the other books in this series... even free with Audible Escape.

overall a good listen.

Kendall Taylor and Aiden Snow are two of my favorite readers to listen too. The story was well written and I enjoyed it. The subject matter though dark was really well told.
