I've waited years for her to grow up. Now it's time. I won't be gentle and I won't be kind. I'm taking what is mine.
Kaylie: Wherever I went, I heard it: the sound of a purring motorcycle behind me. They never bothered me or said a word. But I knew they were there because of him. Devlin McRae, the head of the local MC. Being followed all the time like this was disconcerting. And lately, the bikes had been getting closer, less secretive, more obvious. What would I do if Devlin ever caught me?
Devlin: The first time I saw her, she was too young. I had to wait. I hated it, but I'd promised her mother I would wait for her to grow up. The sweet, little waitress from Mae's diner was going to be mine. She just didn't know it yet.

I Really Enjoyed that . It wasn't too deep though, which was nice and light .
Not a lot of Sex in this story.
There was a Crazy Ex Girlfrind~ kinda ~ but she never really was a problem for our Kaylie, which was Awsome.
I avoid them stories with ex 's involved.
Devlin figured the ex out and handled her .
The Narrators Did An amazing job narrating their parts ,,,
but, what was kinda off for me,
Was both Narrators
( TROY DURAN ) as DEVLIN
( KENDALL TAYLOR ) as KAYLIE
who Were both great, but
Did it as a 3rd party narrator format .
Like they were Not the voices of the character's, POV's themselves rather the story was being told about them in the male and female narrators voices. It was kinda off to me for that reason.
Never heard a story Narrated that way. Not sure How I feel about it either.
I didnt feel a connection to the story .
I Do think it was a pretty good book though, BUT ,for Me Personally, It being Narrated this way, in a 3rd party format kinda lost the feel of the story. It kinda felt like a documentary vs: a romance novel.
I really Think Had the Book been written and Narrated in the format of the the Character's POV's you would feel more of a connection to the story.
This is by no means a bad review , but rather a more of a uniqueness.
Would I recomend this book...
Well,,, for me It's a one and Done.
Others may like this type of narration. So Only You can Decide .
** UNIQUELY NARRATED ** 🤔 Story Was Better Than I thought .
