About this listen

We're in a major shift in a fundamental aspect of how businesses grow, how buyers purchase, and how businesses build meaningful conversations and customer relationships. Companies who align their mission, strategies, action plans, and tools with the way buyers think, learn, discover, and purchase will have a huge competitive advantage. Organizations need to adjust their mind-set and build a strategic foundation to deal with these facts and not just update a business plan.

Inbound Organization shows leaders how to build their company's future around "inbound" principles and strengthen the structural foundations necessary to deal with the changes in buyer behavior. It explains how and why inbound ideas about how to create a remarkable customer experience belong in the boardrooms and on the desks of founders, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and anyone who has a responsibility to lead their organizations into the future.

  • Discover the foundation of inbound principles
  • Learn how to put ideas into practice today
  • Hear about organizations that successfully apply the principles of inbound
  • Keep your business on course to succeed amid buyer changes

Great book! I love the the Inbound Marketing philosophy: the idea that people value personalized, relevant content – not interruptive messages. When I went to purchase the book, the following lines are what caught my attention, "If a company is to survive in this environment they must shift their thinking in a fundamental way. They need to align their mission, strategies, action plans, and tools with the way buyers think, research, and purchase." As a small business mentor for SCORE I council hundreds of small businesses who are largely coming to us asking about their online marketing strategy. They realize they need to do this, but they don't understand how to move forward, why it's important, what exactly are they trying to do, and who to help them once they figure it out. After reading "Inbound Organization" I now have a broader, and more nuanced understanding of how to answer these questions for my clients. Companies like HubSpot and SalesForce are leading the way, but Inbound Marketing isn't a gimmick or fad, it's here to stay, and fortunately so—this is the way we all want to be marketed to! Excellent book, I highly recommend.

A must-read for marketers and business owners
