Look outside the box, then smash the box
What I loved about this book is the perspective it put in me that you don’t need a “game changer” to create a blue ocean, you need something that satisfies a need not yet reached, adds a value not yet realized, performs a service not yet offered.
Bigger, faster, stronger is enough to create an untapped revenue stream.
The history lessons in this book were what I viewed as the most impactful in my life.
How did we get here?
The progression in business for things we tend to overlook like the car and the computer are how we are going to continue to advance business in society.
This book made me feel like my BIG ideas aren’t crazy, they just need to be scaled down a bit.
Then work my way up.

Profoundly Insightful
Identifies and explains in articulated detail, what separates the most successful business innovators, from businesses that also innovated but failed. Brilliant, powerful work. Several years old now, but still relevant. Considered to be required reading for any entrepreneur or business professional. Provides superior analytical framework for marketing. You simply have to read it, because your competition aready has!

Really a good summary of how the big winners win
This book explains how many of the really big winners in the marketplace have accomplished that. And sometimes, how, without continuing to innovate, they have eventually lost that market share again. Even if you have been aware of this type of innovation/reward, it is a good reminder!
