About this listen

Book one of the Felony Romance Series. Dark, dirty and bursting with bad boys.

An uptight accountant. An irresistible bartender. An attraction complicated by secrets, obligations, and broken promises.

A few minutes past midnight on a hot June night, Ally Taylor turns out the lights of her office, catches a cab to the seamy side of town, and slides onto a barstool at Felony Bar, a notorious underground club. The bartender, Jack Jameson, slides a gin and tonic across the counter before she says a word because he already knows what she likes. When he leaves, her gaze follows him. His broad shoulders, tattoos, and dreamy dark eyes promise everything missing from her life. Spontaneity. Promiscuity. Adventure. He is the green grass on the other side of her self-imposed fence, a tempting dish she covets but would never taste. As much as she's attracted to him, it's hard to forget that she was engaged to someone else a week ago, especially when that someone is making out with her ex-best friend at the end of the bar.

She needs to shake off the illicit thoughts Jack inspires, but when he nods toward a secret door, inviting her into the darkness, she follows. He's the devil, and she's the unwilling sinner. She wants to taste him, feel him, use him to forget all the pain of her broken engagement. He presses her against the wall, hands gliding beneath her skirt. Never one for wild decisions, she's torn between desire and common sense, love and lust.

Jack likes female companionship, someone to take away the ache of emptiness he feels most of the time. One-night stands are a dime a dozen at Felony, but he's not a kid anymore and he's tired of waking up in someone else's bed. Ally's calm and cool control fuels the animal inside him. He yearns to break that control, to get a taste of the passion lurking inside her. In spite of his playboy ways, he wants more than sex.

Ok book for conservative people

Like
Main characters were awesome desceibed, personalities came out very well.
Dislike
"And he touched my sex" What?? In this day and age people should talk body parts as they are named. Vagina or penis ain't that bad of words. That was total mood killer. Also would like more if story were written in common words, because sometimes it's hard to understand what narrator is saying. Story changes female/ male roles back and forth, I liked more on female point of view.

Recommend
If like listen vanilla erotica and won't tangle on spesific words, then why not.

Rating
Starts out like great erotica, but goes flat at the end. Narrator is ok. Story is slow going and needs more described sex parts. That was disapointing.
