I have listened or read hundreds of post apocalypse books but this series left me with a feeling that hopefully if or when this happens….human compassion will help us survive

I enjoyed this series very much. Consistent, good narration. Lots of good things to think about for survival during an epidemic.

Swiss family Robinson meets the Apocalypse very low key characters characters easy to listen to easy to follow no big surprises OK not super great not bad.

The narrator was very... monotone. Hard to catch jokes, moods, escalation to anger, joy.... he was a flat reader. The story was just a little bit flat. But what I didn't find in action, I found in: educating myself on all the things they thought of! And in: kindness-- less violent or cruel people, and that was a nice change!

Really good ending to an enjoyable series. In my opinion there are not enough non violent survival stories out there, I wish there were more. I appreciate the author adding to the small list. Recommended.
