want more of the MC's backstory

enjoy the book but would also enjoy more interludes of the MC's backstory. the only thing that can make the story better is for it to be longer.

Fascinating

An interesting perspective on the genre. The main character is a unique take on an isukai protagonist.

Ai narration makes it hard to follow

It seems like the story could be ok. I am going to be giving up on it because the ai narration where everyone sounds the same jumping between characters and the lack of proper inflections is hard to follow. I hope they hire real people for audio books in the future and this isn’t a trend

great but....

While the story is quite good, be prepared for a lot of chubby chasing, for example the "most beautiful woman in the world happens to be on the cover of book 9. Almost like body image propaganda, almost.

Loving it!! Thank you!!

On to book 4 now. It does get a little too horny for my taste at points, but doesn't linger too long and keeps it a background thing mostly. A vit hard to follow the characters, but relistening clears it all up! Again, thank you!!

The Various Perspectives

So I’ll start this with the fact that I didn’t finish the first book so take my opinion with a grain of salt. While I found the opening with various perspectives of the same rough timeframe to be an interesting way to picture a setting I had a problem which how slow it felt. It also lacked the appropriate amount of hooks to keep me interested. However the story itself was captivating I just did not have the patience to deal with the broken hero and slow start. I still commend the work and dedication of the author however, so to Akos thank you for your service to literature.

Best Series Ever 👏

Thanks for the entertaining characters and world building. I like the idea of a not so perfect hero that does what he wants without remorse

A mediocre, if entertaining story, undone by a horrid narration

text-to-speech should not be used for audiobooks. The perspective shifts are made extremely jarring by the monotone, words are frequently mispronounced, and any emotions that the author tried to invoke were constantly undercut.

Now for the story. Fairly generic fantasy isekai with a somewhat interesting set of protagonists. The perspective tends to shift with little to no warning. The time jumps forward and backward with little regard with how invested you are in a scene. Finally, this is not a complete story, it is a set up for a multi novel epic.

In conclusion, the author should have run through at least two more drafts before publishing and never trusted VirtualVoice. If you can't afford a professional narrator, then do it yourself.
