About this listen

Jealousy - Help in Dealing with a Person or with Your Own Relationship Insecurity and Trust Issues

Is your relationship struggling due to insecurities, envy, and trust or jealousy issues? Why don't you trust your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife? Why don't they trust you? Do you feel rejected and abandoned? Is your partner expressing that he or she feels rejected or abandoned? Does it seem like you are caught in a power struggle that revolves around spending time with your partner?

Jealousy can be a complex entanglement of many things. I can show you how to get the pile of entangled negative emotions that are damaging your life and relationship untangled.

Inside this book I reveal proven methods for making positive changes in your relationships that can lead you into enjoying a much more serene and happy life.

Relationship trust issues are usually at the very heart of the problem.

I've read a lot of books on jealousy, have struggled in this area most of my life, and have learned how to overcome feelings of relationship insecurities.

In this book I share with you wisdom collected over the past 40 years through being in relationships, working with counselors, and attending thousands of support group meetings designed to teach people to learn how to deal with difficult people.

Some Ideas from This Book About Jealousy

Don't treat your feelings lightly when they are sounding off with blinking, bright-red lights, trying to tell you, "Hey, something's not right with this picture!"

So what's my point? Take the time to really see the situation you are involved in where jealousy is occurring in an honest way. Seek out the opinions of other people so you can get a different perspective. If you are not being treated with respect, don't be a doormat. Stand up for yourself....

Written from the heart, an interesting book

What did you like best about this story?

What I like best about this book is that it is narrated by the author and he talks about his own life and jealousy. It's a very honest book and it makes all the difference to me when someone is basing a book on their own life experiences.

Have you listened to any of Robert Rain’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but as he reads his own book, it doesn't sound stilted or unconvincing like some audio books can when it's narrated by someone who is not very familiar with the book or the subject matter.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The personal stories from the author, this guy really does understand jealousy.

Any additional comments?

Lots of advice, lots of info. This book is useful both for someone who is jealous, and for people who have to put up with jealousy from someone else. If both people in a couple listened to this and followed the advice, it could help save a relationship. Jealousy is such a horrible emotion and it's also one of the hardest to control. Analyzing why you feel this way is the first step to solving the problem.

Good overview

Gives a good overview of what jealousy is and where it stems from. Although it's not very in-depth on how to overcome it, it's a good amount of detail for the length.

Seems Heavily Biased

I was really excited to listen to the book as I'm in a relationship with with a very insecure and anxious partner. I'm very introspective and aware of where my difficulties lie and have no trouble idea tidying my weaknesses. My perspective is that the author's perspective is more about holding the partner responsible for the other's insecurities and less about personal accountability.
