A simple and sweet romantic story without a lot of drama. Erin Mallon is an excellent narrator and I listen to her whenever I can. This story was refreshing for a change and I enjoyed it. Hmmmm... should I be seeking out one of those hunky Texas Rangers...lol
I've listed to several books in this series and what I really like is the support the various characters give to one another. Thanking the author for that. Enjoy. 💕💕

I thought that I had read all of Susan Stoker's "Badge of Honor" series, (actually all of her books), but I was pleased to find one that I had missed! I heard of this book from an email from Susan Stoker. I thought that it would be a book that I had forgotten about, (I do that often enough!) But after the first chapter, I knew that I hadn't heard or read it before. The story is a little different from most of her books, but I was so caught up in the book, that I couldn't put it down! If you enjoy reading Susan's books, you will enjoy this one too!

I love finding the ones I haven't read year on audio cause they are so freaking outstanding this way. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing to the story to life and making me feel like I'm right there with them in the story. The author is one of those that you know her stories are always going to be worth a credit

I enjoyed this book just as much as the others in this series. The way the story unfolds is so captivating. Can't wait for the next book. Susan Stoker has quickly become one of my favorite authors!

This story is a nice change of pace - instant attraction, non-drama, sweet romance between two mature adult, but, there’s still peril.

I love Susan Stoker’s stories something about a damsel in distress and an alpha male to save the day that does it for me. Erin does a great job of narrating the story. I didn’t want to stop listening.

Wes is a Texas Ranger and has agreed to pose for a fund raising calendar. Laine was talked into attending the photo shoot when her best friend backed out. Nothing but sparks flying once these two saw each other. The pace of the relationship was fast but I didn’t mind. I was giving Laine a mental high five. Things were going great until Laine goes missing and Wes has to use everything at his disposal to find her.

This was a crazy ride that I would gladly go on again.
