About this listen

Another witness had come forward, saying they were sure they had seen someone of Tom’s description near one of the old mine pit lakes. It was going on two years now since his disappearance, but of course, anything was possible. After all, while the clues had gone cold and witness memories faded, there was one thing that doesn’t die away, the scent of death. And that is where the dogs come in. This was so enjoyable to listen to.

I personally loved these books. They were so pleasant to listen to while I did work around the house such as cleaning.
Thank you for the wonderful stories.

Rebekkah's perseverance through pain, quiet joy in nature

I really got into the story. I felt indignant when others were making trouble for ER-SAR as a group by complaining about its members not being well enough trained. I was so sad when the dogs were hurt or sick. I enjoyed the descriptions of nature during the walks. I was happy that there seemed to be a succession of happy guests.

It was easy to feel a part of this world while listening to the book. If you don't read the first book and this one, you will be missing out on some educational search and rescue (SAR) information and some wonderful virtual vacation time (no TV or video required).

I loved the dogs and the searches

I loved the story lines for each search. Little to no redundancy in this book. Also no vulgarity, foul language or boring sex scenes.

Great K9 story

just a pity about the virtual voice. loved the intimate descriptive journey of the training and work of a K9 operator.
