About this listen

After a tragic loss, Jessica Chamberlain changes jobs, moves, and adopts a rowdy German shepherd. The two begin training with a Virginia search-and-rescue group. The group's training director, Nathan Tanner, is a former military working dog handler with scars of his own and he quickly picks up on Jess's ongoing anxiety. After the unexpected discovery of a body in the woods, Jess and her dog and Nate are drawn into the FBI's search for an abductor targeting women. Tormented by her past and terrified of the future, Jess still forges ahead. Can the secrets of her late father give her the courage she needs to continue?

Not finished

I was still interested until half of the book or until religion, more specific Christianity. I am atheist and the talk about Bible and God got to be a sore subject. I don't pledge my beliefs on anybody, therefore I don't accept that to be done to me.

Struggling to get through

I had a hard time listening to this one. The narrator's inflection and inaccurate pronunciation of area locales was infuriating. Decent storyline, loved hearing about SAR teams, and as a canine massage therapist, I enjoyed that bit immensely. That said, the description should warn readers/listeners of the religious lines in the story. It would definitely turn off many readers.

Christian propaganda

I had no idea this was a Christian book used to brainwash those suseptable. The book says there is no other way to let go of anger and be self aware but through God, which is nonsense. There are plenty of other ways to mature and grow mentally and emotionally. The story of the dog and handler was ok at best. the character continually out herself and others at risk because of her selfishness. oh

Riveting!

I have never devoured an audiobook, or fiction book, so quickly in all my life. I couldn’t take my headphones out!

Good K-9 Story

"All That I Dread" is a good K-9 story but I thought it was a bit repetitive at certain times and could have been shorter. I liked how the Author ( Linda Daniels) brought GOD into the story and mentioned important points about Christianity. However, the story about the Mystery and Christianity really were told about as separate issues at times, which I found confusing. I love stories about K-9 dogs and other animals so I did enjoy the story overall. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 due to the length and a bit too wordy.

Our Dogs Always Wins

This book was good, but not one that I couldn't put down. I like the Characters, and the use of discernment and God. Easier with the addition of God, to get a understanding of feelings such as Love and truly caring

Waiting for more!

Great story, very few slow spots, and several areas of suspense that I realized I'd tensed through. I was ready for the next in the series, but it wasn't released yet. I'm looking forward to it.
