Publisher's summary

Held in a bunker by sadistic kidnappers, who can save these girls?

Kill for Me is the brilliant third and final thriller in the Philadelphia/Atlanta series, by bestselling author Karen Rose.

The clock is ticking....

Susannah Vartanian's life changed overnight when, as a teenager, she was viciously raped by a sadistic gang of youths. Now she won't allow anyone to get close to her.

Luke Papadopoulos is approaching burn-out. As a detective working on sex-crimes against children, he will do anything to find those responsible for such evil atrocities.

Monica Cassidy's life is under threat. Held in a bunker with ten other teenage girls, she barely escaped with her life when her kidnappers fled, killing five of the girls as they left. Now Monica is the only one free who can identify her abductors, and they know where she is.

Can they work together to find the five missing girls? The clock is ticking....

What is with the main male lead's horrible voice?

What disappointed you about Kill for Me?

Why did you let the reader ruin, maybe, a good, even a great book by putting on such a stupid accent for the male lead? It not only ruined the book, it completed grated on my nerves! I usually have no issues finish all the audio books I buy, but every time I heard Luke I wanted to throw my player across the room. The lead lady wasnt likable at all, but that usually isn't a problem, you can get through a book if you don't connect with the lead characters, but not a annoyingly, stupid accent.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Nothing by this reader, I never want to risk another stupid voice again, so unpleasant.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tara Ward?

Anyone!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I marked so low because I spent the whole time scared that Luke was going to talk, well, for the little bit of time I listened. How the hell am I suppose to find anything good about the book, if I was scared that one of the main characters was going to say something.

Any additional comments?

Why, Tara, did you ruin this book with such a horrible accent? It changes with every word he says, so I don't even know where Luke is meant to be from. So bad, and a complete waste of money!
