Publisher's summary

Betrayal. Chaos. Love.

I came to Black Veil for a new start. A chance to find myself again, and maybe learn how to control my unruly magic.

Instead, I've somehow bonded myself to three amazing men, found out I'm mated to my childhood best friend, and my magic grows more unstable by the day.

Danger lurks around every corner and death lingers in the air. Secrets are uncovered, questions answered, but I'm not entirely sure I'm prepared to face the truths that they bring.

Knight Forsaken is book 3 of 5 in the Black Veil University. This is a university-aged, paranormal RH romance which means there will be no choosing between love interests at the end of the story.

This series has darker elements that listeners should be aware of such as strong language, PTSD from kidnapping, assault, and violence.

It has kept my interest…great series

By the time I get to the third book in a series, I’m ready for it to be done because I’m bored. But this one has done a good job at keeping my interest. I’ve read them all and wanted to listen as well. I really like the male narrator. I love his voice for Dom and Roran especially. It just really makes Ror’s character hearing it acted out. I think the female is a good narrator. She has a distinct way of ending her sentences that I had to adjust to and is also overly dramatic during intense scenes but it’s not terrible and I’ve gotten used to it. I just think it’s her way of trying to get the emotions across. I am enjoying hearing both the male snd female voices acting out the scenes simultaneously. They do an amazing job together.

The best one yet?!

Could Knight Forsaken audiobook be the best one yet in the Black Veil University series?! I think so! Like in books 1 and 2 Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did a marvelous job capturing the raw emotions of the characters and the fact that Jake could keep the MMC's straight was an impressive feat in itself. I didn't want this one to end, because I know book 4 isn't available yet, but I cannot wait! If you're a fan of ZA or any University Paranormal romance, you have to give these audiobooks a try. Some of my absolute favorites of 2023.

I swear these endings get me every dang time! I don’t know how we are supposed to feel about porter but I hope they don’t plan to try and redeem him

Great Story Line

Remarkable story and narrators but Danika should of toned it down a little bit. She’s way too dramatic about everything. Being dramatic is great but all the time and about everything is too much.
Overall Great story!

Well I have to say that I am hooked on this series now. I have loved Danica since the very start of book 1 & I need so many answers. I thought book 1 & 2’s endings were rough but it was nothing on book 3! I refused to accept this ending.

Danica's relationships with the guys grows so much during this book & a few more seem to be added. Her relationship with Gabe is definitely the biggest focus of this book & oh my goodness, there is a lot to unpack there.

And that ending, just why! How is this possible?!?!

This book is also duet narrated & I absolutely loved listening to it. The narrators did such a great job with all of the characters & really brought this story to life.

Loving the series so far!

As soon as the 2nd book ended, I started this one right up - needing to know what happened. Suffice it to say, that the author has me hooked with their words, and the narrators have hooked me with their performance. I don't want to give spoilers, so I'll keep this review short. It's worth a listen. I was sad that this was the last audiobook released right now, however, I know this is one I'll listen to again and again, so I purchased the series on Kindle and as soon as the next book is released it will be added to my library. If this is your genre of book, I think you will really enjoy both the story and performance.

4.5 overall...FMC sucks

I really liked this book and the storyline is great. The cliffhangers are good and make you want to jump into the next book but aren't over the top where you are completely frustrated.

The narration is good but the female narrator is a bit much at times. I like her sometimes but get annoyed others. Mostly when she gets super whiney and dramatic, it makes me want to cringe and skip the parts altogether. I feel that way with everything she narrates though.

The MMC's are all unique and have different personalities so you can almost tell immediately whose talking. Danica however really annoyed me in this book; she somewhat did in the first two but I was trying to look past it. I couldn't look past it in this book. She was super annoying and kind of stupid in this one. She makes dumb decisions and is basically a liability but she wastes everyone's time who is actually useful by arguing that she should always be involved in everything. She's also super rude and comes off as a spoiled b****. Possible spoiler ahead so quit reading if don't want to know anything... She treats Dom like sh*t; other than their fated connection i don't think she has anything to offer the poor guy. She also treats Atlas like dog poo and he saved her dang life. And he's so cute and good to her and clearly adores her. She's a B-word. If she'd change her d*mn attitude and be less annoying I'd really wish she'd add Atlas to her Harem just because he needs someone. I know they don't have a bond or tether or anything but he is crazy about her and has no one and everyone treats him like scum. It's heartbreaking actually. I like him more than some of the MMC's. Like kick Gabe to the curb and accept his sweet brother. Gabe messed up beyond repair in my mind anyway and has treated her terribly through almost 3 books. I hope the author makes her more likeable and less of a worthless idiot who thinks she knows everything and deserves everything in the next book. She's seriously killing the story for me at this point and that's sad because the storyline is awesome.
