Publisher's summary
Walt teams up with bounty hunter, Georgia Peach, to bring down drug dealers, wife beaters, kidnappers, grave robbers, jewel thieves, and an ex-con looking for revenge. In the process, Walt discovers that Georgia and her family are "unusual" in more ways than one. Walt thought he had seen it all as a cop for five years and a P.I for five more, but he had no idea how bizarre things could be until he met Georgia Peach.

Story
Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down. Gus’s life was a tedium and boredom he’d grown comfortable with. One that he sought out after he’d come back from his tour of duty. A detective in the paranormal investigations department. A job he could work day in and day out in relative peace. One cold and forgotten cup of coffee at a time. It was an environment that made some sense to him. At least in comparison to civilian life where almost nothing did. On top of that, it gave him a chance to hide what he was from the rest of the world.

It's been said that all great literature boils down to one of two stories—a man takes a journey, or a stranger comes to town. While mystery writers have been successfully using both approaches for generations, there's something undeniably alluring in the nature of a stranger: the uninvited guest, the unacquainted neighbor, the fish out of water. In the newest collection of stories by the Mystery Writers of America, each author weaves a fresh tale surrounding the eerie feeling that comes when a stranger enters our midst, featuring stories by prolific mystery writers.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Story
Traumatized by the bombing of Dresden at the time he had been imprisoned, Pilgrim drifts through all events and history, sometimes deeply implicated, sometimes a witness. He is surrounded by Vonnegut's usual large cast of continuing characters (notably here the hack science fiction writer Kilgore Trout and the alien Tralfamadorians, who oversee his life and remind him constantly that there is no causation, no order, no motive to existence).

Story
Alice's journey begins as all good journeys do: hitting on the sales guy at REI. After a tumultuous breakup, a quick career transition, family upheaval, and a sobriety journey that didn't fix her life quite as much as she expected it to, Alice decides that the only way to solve all her problems is to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. But as she begins preparing for the months-long quest, she realizes the answers she's seeking might not be on top of a snow-covered mountain. Especially since she just learned there was snow in California.

Just peachy
We see how much of a small world it really is. Each of Walts cases ends up having him cross paths with an interesting “bounty hunter” named Georgia Peach. A great addition to the regular cast of characters.
Robert Thornhill delivers again. There’s action, suspense, and loads of humor. Lady Justice is always great entertainment.
George Kuch is back again with another fantastic performance. I can’t imagine anyone else portraying Walt Williams.

Another hit for this series
Georgia Peach is a fantastic new character, and I had a lot of fun with this installment as Walt teams up with her. This book is full of action and adventure and lots of laughs to keep it well rounded.

Great little book
Absolutely loved this book.
A cozy mystery well actually it's a few stories linked together by common characters.
An unusual main character with supporting characters who definitely have a lot of character.
Because of the style of connected stories. I couldn't find a point at which to put it down. So had to listen to it in one sitting.

A well-written story from a very good author
Lady Justice and the Bounty Hunter (Lady Justice, #42), my forty-second enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. 3 hrs and 20 minutes of entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners, as always dealing with current social topics. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, over the course of over forty Audible books, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I listen to these books with my wife and there are times we laugh so hard it brings tears to our eyes. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014

Lady Justice and the Bounty Hunter
Walt learns a little bit about bounty hunters and how they work. He also seems to keep finding himself in the same places at them and is able to help solve and capture a few runners along the way. Just like all the previous books in this series, it was a great listen.

A little too much
This story was a little over the top for me. It kept going in too many directions. I didn't care how the obese woman was portrayed and treated. Other than that as always I enjoy this narrator and author combo. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Lots of capers in this one
The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. This book had a bunch of different capers involving a bounty hunter (as you can probably surmise from the title). I enjoyed the addition of the new characters on a different career path that Walt. I'm not sure but it sounds like one of two things is going to happen: either a new series is going to spin-off from this one or Walt might be making another career change. Either way, I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Fun with justice
law-enforcement, private-investigators, family-dynamics, friendship, senior-citizens, situational-humor, verbal-humor
You know it's fiction because Justice always wins. We need more of that. Walt and friends are involved in several things and their newest friends are a family whose names are just too much fun. Today's tales involve a number of encounters with a pair of recently licensed bounty hunters. Well, no spoilers, just enjoy and laugh like I do.
George Kuch remains remarkable with his laid back yet expressive narrations.
