Publisher's summary

James Creed, the man who can travel through time using his mind as a weapon, continues his journey in Los Angeles in the year 1985, where he brings Sara to meet her destiny and play her part in saving the future. He also travels back to the town of Hartford, CT, in the year 1944 in the body of Luke, the young police officer. With help from Angela, the young nurse who’s helping him, he finds the answers he needs to stop the great circus fire that will kill many and play a part in changing the future as we know it.

Michael Creed, who has left 2035 behind, together with Daria and his sister Ariel, search for his father in time and battle a new nemesis in their quest to stop the disease that has almost destroyed what’s left of the human race.

All the while, Death and Destiny will follow close behind, while Dearborn continues to hunt him from the shadows. In his quest to save his loved ones, he learns how to master his abilities to manipulate time and keep him one step ahead of the Land of Shadows and Light.

Round and round we go!

James Creed continues his journey in the hopes of saving the children from the 1944 circus fire. More clues are discovered revealing more of the mystery. Who is Dearborn? Why was the fire set? Is there a connection? Where will James eventually wind up? I’m usually not a huge fan of time travel novels, but this series is so well-written the story engaging, and the characters very likable. I enjoyed this tale and recommend it to all time travel enthusiasts. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Solid end to the trilogy

Liked the ending. Loved the first book. Found the twist to the supernatural in the second pretty shocking, but had to hear the end. I was too attached to the premise and the characters to not hear it... and it was awesome!

Fantastic Series!

I loved this series. I could find no flaws in either the writing or the narration. Time travel is a tricky subject and this author does a fantastic job.

A Fitting Conclusion

I enjoyed this trilogy with an interesting and new take on time travel that I haven't seen before. Book 3 jumps between several time periods with many, if not all, of the storylines converging to a satisfying and united ending. I found the time jumps within chapters to follow the logical progression of the story and added positively to the overall story without feeling like the listener may lose their place when jumping into a new timeline. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the supernatural element existing on the fringes of the main storyline and would be interested in a novel devoted solely to discovering their purpose and history.

There are no coincidences in time travel

This was a very well crafted and well executed conclusion to the series. I found the ending and explanations both entertaining and satisfying. All in all, I enjoyed the authors take on time travel and its implications for the world and the people in it. The issues around time travel, particularly skirmishes affecting the 'future' are always difficult to navigate. I Felt the author did an admirable job keeping it all straight and trying to cover the holes as best as possible. All in all, I would recommend this book, in fact this series, to anyone looking for a bit of near-term sci-fi/time travel adventure.

A thrilling conclusion...

James Creed has pretty much mastered time travel, but can he do what’s necessary to save those that were never supposed to die? It’s a good thing he’s not working alone on his task...

Bravo to James Pinard! This storyline was so well thought out, and the time travel aspects were flawless. I loved it.

No complaints from me on the narration. Johnny Mack’s performance was just as good as the other books in the series.

A great conclusion to an interesting story

If you've made it to book 3, you know what to expect from the narration -- great performance by Johnny Mack.

Likewise, this book continues in much the same manner as book 1 and 2 and I definitely felt like we get a satisfying conclusion to this story. Worth your time and money if you enjoyed the first two parts of the series!

Land of shadows and light

This is the most twisty of the 3 books in this series!I enjoyed it.A man is sent back in time to save the children that were killed in the 1944 circus tent fire. The problem is,others were sent to stop HIM.It gets all twisted between 1944 and 1985 with 2029,I think, tossed in! Johnny Mack was a very good narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Favorite one of the series

This is a great series. I probably loved this one the most because more of it took place in the 80’s.
The concept is pretty cool and I love time travel books. All of the characters are believable and most are likable, unless you aren’t supposed to like them. I enjoyed the way the series wrapped up..... knowing there could possibly be a continuation but it would be a whole new adventure.
Great narration by Johnny Mack
