About this listen

Quinn Monahan and Grayson Page have been friends since high school. Despite their differences, they’ve been there for each other through thick and thin. Opening Last Call together, a bar tucked away in the small town of Heartsville, PA, seemed a natural progression - even if it makes it harder to live with the secret longing they’ve always had for each other.

Hoping to score an easy buck and a place to sleep, unemployed circus roadie Emery Woods chooses Last Call to run a few bets and enjoy a decent beer before moving on. When he finds himself stranded, the unexpected kindness Quinn and Gray show him leads to temporary work and a couch to lay his head on. Sensing unresolved history between Quinn and Gray, he squashes his immediate draw to the men, opting to avoid trouble. But as days turn into weeks, denying the attraction is easier said than done.

When the men finally give in to the simmering sexual tension, it quickly develops into more than a way to pass the lonely nights. And as they begin to lean on each other for emotional support, it becomes nearly impossible to think of one man without the other two. But while Quinn and Gray are afraid to cross the line of friendship between them, Emery fears once they do, he’ll quickly be cast aside. A real family is finally within their grasp, but unless the men can learn to trust each other, they just might miss their hearts’ last call home.

I enjoyed everything about this book. The narration , the story, the anguish and the resolution.

well told story

It’s a good story, but it would be great if the narrator differentiated between each character. There were times I wasn’t sure who was supposed to be thinking/talking. Emery was the only one that had a very slight accent. But halfway through, it would drop and I wasn’t sure who it was. This book was a maybe for me.

I love this story. It is sweet and full of depth. Each character has their past and each person comes together to make them all whole in a way they never thought possible. I definitely recommend it!!

When I first read Last Call, when it released in 2017, what struck me the most was how melacholy of a story it was, and the audiobook really brought that feeling home. But it's also hopeful and so full of love. When Emery enters Quinn and Gray's lives, nothing could prepare those 2 for the way their worlds were about to change.
I loved that we got to see inside each of their heads, I don't think this story could have worked any other way. We were able to see each of their strengths and their vulnerabilities. My heart hurt for each of these men, they've all had a tough time of things, in one way or another. I loved how they were able to open up with each other, to share their feelings, their concerns and hopes. I love the life they create together.

Kale does a wonderful job giving each of these men their own voices, and I don't just mean how they sounded. He brought vulnerability to Emery, strength to Gray, and such caring to Quinn. I really enjoyed listening to him bring Quinn, Gray, and Emery to life.

Melancholy, yet so hopeful.

All I will say is I was shocked (in a good way) when I picked up this book. It’s a really nice twist to your typical M&M reading. Good job Felice and Christina. Looking forward to the next book.

Surprisingly shocked yet delighted

A very well done ménage story. This was a slow burn with lots of relationship development. A great surprise from these authors.

I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it. Well done!

A pretty solid hurt/comfort ménage romance. A scooch formulaic, and because it alternates between the three main characters in the 1st person, it was hard to follow which guy was talking. But Kale Williams gives it a valiant try.

Solid Ménage Romance
