About this listen

The Vestrall fight back, but Leviathan stands in their way. And Major Payne opens a new front in the war.

His goal is nothing less than turning the Vestrall's allies against them to bring peace to the galaxy.

The Vestrall exist, and they have secrets. The war will continue because it suits them.

Humanity must confront the real enemy. They must win or the war will continue for another thousand years. There's only one ship that can do what needs to be done.

Leviathan goes on the offensive, traveling deep into Vestrall space to find them and eliminate their ability to make war.

An attack the likes of which the galaxy has never seen.

One last battle to determine humanity's fate.

This series has everything. I enjoyed the characters, the whit, the premise, all of it. Narration was to notch.

Outstanding performance

I'd picked up some woke subtext through the series but it came out to shine in this book. The writing at the end was like a cavalcade of smiles like it was the intro to a 90s sitcom.

Woke subtext, cringe ending

I enjoyed this series. By the end, I found myself cheering for their success.

Enjoyable audiobook with good ending

The series is based premise of peace thru strength and the concept of mercy when appropriate.

Battle narratives were the best!

No idea where they're going since Declan made friends with the wicked Vestrall. Must be getting new enemies?

A little romance and the F-bomb was used 61 times.

As for the narration: Shawn Compton does such a great job on the voices.

Great series..

In these days of so many excellent authors and writing styles, it is just terrific to come across a story/series like this one, one of the best I’ve read in a while. There are so many of this genre that having constant hopelessness, or overwhelming odds all the time such that it literally wears one out. Or the ones that have waaaaaay too much dialogue or the main character talking about themselves for chapters. This is a very enjoyable and rewarding find, I will look for more of this author. Thank you Craig Martelle and Audiobooks

Truly a great balanced, space opera.

Really enjoy how the books all pick up where the last ended. Nice mix of Military Sifi, with injections of romance, humanitarian mission, interesting but thoughtful dialogue and quotes. Some of the audio makes you re-listen to a few words or sees as a mistake but not enough to make you feel different about hit the book is I really enjoyed it.

Good Sifi

I quite enjoyed the first two books about Lev and crew, but this third installment felt like the needle scratches across a skipping record. What happened? It’s a shame that this was not a trilogy of two.

Leave this one and imagine your own ending. I guarantee it is better than this drivel.

Disappointing after two good reads
