About this listen

From NYT best-selling Author Kristen Proby comes an all new epic series about three best friends, a local legend, and finding love on the stunning Oregon Coast!

Luna Winchester’s life is firmly entrenched in the coastal town Huckleberry Bay, Oregon. A fourth-generation light keeper, Luna is carrying on the Winchester tradition by tending to the lighthouse. Plus, she’s decided to renovate a long-abandoned building on the property and make it a B&B, Luna’s Light. Surrounded by family and her two childhood best friends, her life is full.

Wolfe Conrad is in hiding, and he’s come to Huckleberry Bay to heal. A career-ending accident on the track nearly took his life, and now he seeks refuge to try and build a new one. The quaint town’s slow pace rattles the man who’s first love is fast cars—and then there’s the beautiful innkeeper, who rattles him in different ways.

Falling in love with Luna definitely isn’t part of Wolfe’s plan. Local legends that tell of unrequited love and despair? Unbelievable. But stranger things have happened, like two strangers falling in love....

A LIGHT, EASYGOING, COZY ADULT ROMANCE

What a nice, light, easy-going, well-paced and totally enjoyable romance this was with a wee bit of drama, mystery and a lot of love and cherishing when an accident forces Wolfe home to Huckleberry Bay.. and he sees Luna again. They were childhood friend who had drifted apart and, even though it’s taken years to bring him home, they didn’t waste any time reconnecting.. and, when they did, the joint attraction and chemistry did the rest. Friends, family and a life saving ghost is nicely weaved in and out of the entertaining chapters along with flashes of drama and danger.. but their happily ever after was never in doubt. It was fun, fast-paced, something easy to get lost in, beautiful and shined warmth through the chapters from the superb dual pov narration of fan favorites Erin and Sebastian.

Worth a credit? If you want the above then definitely yes.

This book will capture your heart!

I already had high hopes for this story, and had been counting down the days until the audiobook released. It was everything I was hoping for and so much more.

The perfect combination of serious topics (career-ending injury, loss), romance, and a very protective but friendly ghost. Not to mention, great friends that you'll be just as invested in to see their HEA's at some point.

The audiobook was pure perfection, especially with the dual narration. I was able to visualize the entire story playing out along the Oregon Coast, and plan to listen to it again when I visit this summer.

A beautiful story that was so well written, I never wanted it to end. Wolfe had his broody moments, but the chemistry with Luna was everything.

Great small town series!

This is another great small town series from Kristen Proby with all new characters. This series takes place in a small town on the coast of Oregon with the owner of the lighthouse building a bed and breakfast on the property. This is a friends to lovers trope with an element of paranormal, suspense and a little bit of mystery. Love this town and the cast of characters introduced.

Erin Mallon and Sebastian York are perfect for these characters and really kick this book up a notch.

Loved this book

Great story and what I liked the most is it didn’t follow the typical format of people fall in love, something happens, they break up and get back together. Here the couple stays together and there isn’t the angst of a breakup

Charming and sweet, Huckleberry Bay will get your heart with the first few pages. Lighthouse Way is a fantastic introduction to this cost small town.

Luna Winchester Is an amazing woman. She’s a fourth generation light keeper carrying on the Winchester tradition of tending to their lighthouse. A working Lighthouse on the Oregon coast. She has an amazing family and good friends. She absolutely loves her life.

Wolfe Conrad made a career of driving fast. After an accident that nearly ended his life and shut down his racing career he has returned home to Huckleberry Bay. Seeking a bit of refuge and trying to build a new life. The town's calm pace rattles this man who likes his life in the fast lane. As he settles in and get some self on track for a purpose a friend from the past has made her way into all of his four thoughts.

Kristen Proby treats readers with a magical story within the pages of Lighthouse Way. Luna and Wolfe are amazingly perfect together. There a long time friendship developed into something absolutely beautiful. Neither one of them is looking for love but I love how they accepted each other when they both began to feel the sparks. I love so many things about the story. First there was no big drama. This was a sweet and compassionate love story. I love the coastal town of Huckleberry Bay. It was family, friendship and love in an absolutely stunning setting. Now that’s what a romance read should be.

Chef's Kiss Friend Saga

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Kristen Proby has a perfect recipe to write a romance series that spans all the friends and relatives. Her recipe doesn't get stale and the stories always have a new twist that isn't expected.

Luna and Wolfe have known each other for the whole lives. And just like a wolf is drawn to the moon these two are meant to be. They help each other heal and grow together.

I really loved the background of the lighthouse and the B&B. I love those aspects.

Erin Mallon and Sebastian York can narrate no wrong. I will always listen to their books.

Wolfe & Luna

First I have to say Rose is the best! I absolutely lobe how she is so protective of this town! This is a short, sweet read but certainly doesn’t lack for love! Wolfe & Luna have a love based on years of friendship while growing up together. After returning home, an injury forces Wolfe to stop racing, but it’s Luna who makes him want to stay. This couple has an instant chemistry now being grown up but a foundation of love. Kristen Proby wrote a great story of love and friendship not only with this couple but with their friends. Can’t wait to read more of this town!

Cozy Small Town Romance

Lighthouse Way, the first in a new series by Kristen Proby, is the perfect warm fuzzy blanket with a cup of tea read that I needed right now. This story is full of charm, a great cast of side characters and even a little mystery. Luna is the lighthouse keeper and Wolfe a race car driver. Friends as kids, they get to reconnect when Wolfe returns to Huckleberry Bay for a charity stock car race that ends with Wolfe suffering an injury that makes it so he can never race again.

Luna and Wolfe’s love story is the perfect combination of sweet with a side of spice and Huckleberry Bay is the kind of town filled with the fun, loyal and quirky kind of residents that you just fall in love with. Even the lighthouse itself stands as a main character in the story. There is quite a bit of background on the town, the lighthouse and its inhabitants that sets up what I’m sure will be a great series. I’m already looking forward to finding out about Luna’s two best friends, Sarah & June.

The narration was fabulous and pulled me right into the story.
