About this listen

Con artist or masochist?

It's a morning to forget for Lily, who after suffering at the hands of the local wildlife then goes on to earn the ire of a beautiful girl riding a banged-up 1964 Vespa. As Lily later realizes the identity of her mysterious scooter assailant, the news threatens to ensure that her year will end on anything but a peaceful note.

Once again Lily's mundane life and planned vacation of sleeping in is ruined by her friends and classmates. Cleverly written and expertly performed, this book is a treat for those of us wanting more LNs on Audible. l can only hope that future volumes also make their way onto the platform.

Great fun for light novel fans

As with the first book, Lily Clairet is just doing her best to survive high school, but her nosey, meddlesome friends and penchant for encountering wild personalities makes for a book even more enjoyable than the first. The writing is colorful and creative. The situations are as absurd as they are relatable. I desperately hope they keep bringing the series to audible.

Profoundly Fun, Funnily Profound

it's great I found it really good the first one still my favorite , but still very enjoyable sadly will have to continue this on books because I don't think they will ever continue on the audiobook format. but at least found them on kindle unlimited so it's not going to be that expensive

thumbs up

Everything follows the previous book like how a proper sequel should. There’s a little less focus on the friends surrounding Lily, but the added attention to characters that needed them (after the events of the previous book) along with two additional members (one probably permanent, the other more intermittent) is great. Whereas I couldn’t really keep track of the time for the previous book, this one is wholly set towards a single week - Spring Break. It should be easier to understand and enjoy if those who listened to the previous book didn’t like the small mystery provided; this one definitely ties up all loose ends and adds more fun slice-of-life events.
Also, Lily is truly a helpless protagonist who never asked for this strange talent of attracting the weirdos to her. She did nothing wrong, let her sleep.

Best Voice: Sanada and Kizuna.
Best Scene: The Club Room’s Origins.
Best Character: New character Sanada blitzes her way to the top at the speed of an amalgamated Vespa. She’s overly exaggerated but in the most fun ways. If there’s one character you’ll love to watch interact with others while dreading ever being her target, Sanada’s it.

More Focus, More Fun

Like the first book this one has its dry parts, but it has some truly humorous and laugh out loud moments as well that make it worth listening to. The plot is zany as always as we listen to Lily try to get through life, and being pushing into one awkward situation after another by her friends. This is a great follow up to the last book.

Funny as Always
