About this listen

After a freak lightning accident zaps him dead, 15-year-old Mochizuki Touya wakes up to find himself face-to-face with God.

“I am afraid to say that I have made a bit of a blunder...” laments the old coot. But all is not lost! God says he can reincarnate Touya into a world of fantasy, and as a bonus, he gets to bring his smartphone along with him!

So begins Touya's adventure in a new, anachronistic pseudo-medieval world. Friends! Laughs! Tears! Inexplicable Deus ex Machina! He sets off on a journey full of wonder as he absentmindedly travels from place to place, following whatever goal catches his fancy. The curtains lift on an epic tale of swords, sorcery, and smartphone apps!

I saw the anime for this and was so happy to read the light novel because the book is always better right😉 . So I get the Audible too they are all fun but I still think you should read the book ( or listen if you don't have the time to read) both because there is more detail about the people and it helps you understand more. That being said I feel sorry for the main character someone help him stand up to the girls! 😂😂😋

overall great story. coming from the anime and manga this fills in a lot of gaps with minor details that were overlooked entirely in the anime and manga. my ONLY complaint is that i think the male narrator made some poor choices regarding his voices. he makes god sound like a Louisianna plantation owner and its cringe. its not a bad voice, he does it fairly well, its just i think it wasnt the good choice in this instance. aside from that no complaints,

great story

if you can't tell from the title I came to this title from watching the anime, which a lot of people make fun of because of how it portrays the characters. what I find really interesting is that had it gone a bit more in to detail like the book does I think a lot more people would like it.

The way the narration was handled made it feel closer to listening to an audio drama versus just having someone narrate each section, which was very good. Would highly recommend the listen if you have seen the anime or are a fan of some of these types of books. Can't wait for the next one to come out in audiobook form.

What the F anime version!!!
