About this listen

Losing London is an epic love story filled with nail-biting suspense, forbidden passion, and unexpected heartbreak.

When cancer took the life of Mitch Quinn’s soulmate, London Adams, he never imagined that one year later her sister, Harper, whom he had never met before, would show up in Emerald Isle, NC. Until this point, his only reason to live, a five-year-old cancer survivor named Hannah, was his closest tie to London.

Harper, recently divorced, never imagined that work - a research project on recent shark attacks - and an unexpected package from London would take her back to the island town where her family had vacationed in her youth. Upon her arrival, she meets and is instantly swept off her feet by a local with a hidden connection that eventually causes her to question the boundaries of love.

As Mitch’s and Harper’s lives intertwine, they discover secrets that should have never happened. If either had known that losing London would have connected their lives in the way that it did, they might have chosen different paths.

Almost had to turn it off

Nice story but the reader sounded like a robot. No inflection or emotion in his voice. Made the story hard to listen to.

The Most Profound of Love Stories!

This story ignited every emotion and left me holding onto every word. It affirms that the truest love goes beyond the body. The twists and turns of how characters are brought together shows how life doesn't always go as planned, but that beauty can be found even amongst the most tragic of circumstances.

Great story!

First read by Joey Jones. Very good! Wish he had more on audible. Narrator was robotic but storyline strong enough to keep me engaged. Please add more of your books to audible.

That Ending??!!

Losing London is one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever read/listened to. I fell in love with the characters and I was rooting for them the entire time! I don’t want to give it away but the ending threw me for a loop and I’m still trying to recover from it!

My only complaint is I did not care for the narrator. He sounded more like a computer talking rather than a person.

Narration was difficult to listen to.

I recently had met the author at an event, and purchased a couple of his books, but decided to listen to this one through audible. The story was sweet, and for the most part believable. The only thing I would say, is that the romance between the main characters happened in one week. A little unrealistic I’m afraid. But I enjoyed the book overall, and would recommend it with the exceptionthat the person who narrated the book was very difficult to listen to. His different interpretation of different characters in the book was at times ridiculous. I recommend purchasing the book and reading it for yourself.
