A funny exploration of the twin mysteries that are Bob and Billy, masterfully presented by Alex Goodwin, the non-Pulitzer Prize winner and non-New York Times–bestselling author of the Bob and Billy Funny Stories series.
In his previous book, Problem Cousin and Other Funny Stories, Alex Goodwin embarked on the exploration of lives of Bob and Billy as they attempted to find pickled goats’ feet, colluded with witches that control bananas, hosted their slightly problematic cousin, and even chased a burning Christmas tree up and down the mountain (mostly down, as gravity of the situation would have it). And all of it was done to hilarious results.
In Lost in Lithuania and Other Funny Stories, an uproarious, brand-new collection, Alex Goodwin tackles everything from curling tournaments to high-stress bakery jobs to incredibly inventive (in the wrong way!) midnight tours of Igor’s castle to the hardship of aglet manufacturing to the satisfaction of homecoming (even if that home happens to be a bomb-testing field in the Death Valley).
Let’s face it: Bob and Billy are back, and they are funnier than ever. What are you waiting for? Get on your unicycle and pedal through this book! As Bob and Billy would put it, don’t be a wild Hungarian moose baby about it and read this new non-masterpiece.

Would you listen to Lost in Lithuania and Other Funny Stories (Bob and Billy Funny Stories Book 3) again? Why?
I definitely would! The humor is snappy and I intend to take a second and third listen to enjoy it all over again. What did you like best about this story?
The writing in Lost in Lithuenia is deliciously funny, taking us to the brink of what is hilariously nonsensical. “Several minutes later, Bob and Billy marched out of the shop with enormous sacks filled to the brim with hot, squishy cinnamon roll. ‘Mmmm,’ said Bob. “$300 never tasted so good!”The dialogue between them is snappy and engaging, and I can easily imagine this material scripted for the stage. You may find it amazing that this writing comes from the (irreversibly wacky) brain of a teenager, Alex Goodwin. Perhaps it serves to tell us that there is no one better than a child to find the ‘child at heart’ and tackle ideas as fearlessly as possible, and with a freshness all his own.
Any additional comments?
The narrator for the audiobook edition, Gary Roelofs, has a mature voice that he uses in various funny rhythms, bringing out every little nuance and breaking any barrier between the storyteller and the listener, creating a direct connection. “Hey, You. Yeah, the one reading the book. If you were fortunate enough to not read the last two books, there are a few things you gotta know to avoid being confused. We don’t want you just jumping into this book like a rabid himalayan mountain goat, now do we?”Hilariously funny writing that tackles ideas fearlessly

The narrator does a fantastic job of switching voices between Bob and Billy and I think he captures the true persona of both characters. Have you ever known anyone like Billy? I have. In fact I can easily picture him in my mind as I listen.
I recommend this book to people of all ages. Adults will find it easy to follow, fun and entertaining. Children and young adults will laugh at the antics of Bob and Billy. This is the perfect book to listen to with your niece or nephew or grandchildren. Since it is audio, you can listen with a group of children. It will relax them and make them giggle. Enjoy.
