About this listen

Ariel Kimber is a 17-year-old girl who has recently discovered she is no ordinary girl. She's a witch, and she's got magic. Her world is turned upside down with this discovery and the recent death of a parent.

She struggles to learn the way of the world of magic while mourning for her hideous mother and trying to find her place amongst her coven. It's not easy being the only girl with seven guys, and she works hard to get to know them all because they are her coven, whether she likes it or not.

This is the second book in a series. It's reverse harem and slow burn.

I love, love potion lovestory characters narration

This book is soooo good the series is so good yall need to check out the Ariel kimber series in all the formats lol but seriously as an audible lover the narration on the series is amazing. I read the book first and have been listening it to it on Audible as it comes out in the narration is perfect❤ it's so amazing to get to hear this way. Also I love, love potion 💕 it had been a whole since i read it OMG just soo good. No wonder I fell in love with this series and literally all the guys and of course Ariel❤ #unclepantytheif #teamsaltandpeper starting a new one #teamsilkbathrobe oh and #binxbeatsboys lol this is one of those series where you really love the characters and you get lost in their world and you want to be. And it gets to the point where you could read or listen to them doing anything and you would be happy because you're just so fascinated by the characters so you have these great characters very well-developed are unique and they have great chemistry and then you have a great story on top of it and a very interesting world that's created. And it's a supernatural World beneath the Contemporary like real world so it's very grounded which I love so you have all this on top of a great story in this book and a great overall plot it just makes for one of my all-time favorite series like top 3 with no specific order so this is what I would call a six-star listen 6 star read I hope you all listen and get to enjoy as much as I do❤

A love potion gone wrong

Book 2 in the series. It’s a reverse Harem story. It’s a slow very slow burn . It continues where book 1 ends Ariel needs to control her magic and learn more about it. You will learn some truths about Marcus what happened to his family, his sister. Ariel also finds a box in the box of her mothers closet and she finds out some truths. Grab it and find out
Chunky is creepy after the potion , Quinton I love how He interacts with Ariel. He’s always at the right place at the right time.
Dash goes and makes up for being an a-hole in book one . You get a glimpse of who Ariel father is and why her mother was so terrible to her

The performance of Melissa Schwairy was great. Her tone for each character is strong

Love this Series

I absolutely love this series and was excited when I found it on Audible. I am ok with the narration but the voice tends to be a little grating at times. Everyone is different so it may not bother others.

Second book as good as the first

Still reads like YA, she has literally only kisseded two of them, so prepare for a continuation of the slow burn

Audio makes Uncle Quinton even more enjoyable

Ariel Kimber has had a rough life that has turned upside down the last few months. Her abusive mother is dead and now her boyfriend is moving closer to his family and wants Ariel to go with him. Her coven naturally wants her to stay with them. She wants to get to know them better and learn about her magic but she's not ready to be with all of them if they even want her.
She's no longer alone but she doesn't know how to be part of the coven yet either.

I was definitely not disappointed with book 2. The storyline continued nicely. Very interesting revelations. We found out more about the Witching World, more about Ariel, Marcus Cole, and several of the guys. We actually got to spend time with the older set of guys in the coven this time, so now we have a better idea who Dash, Julian, and Damien are. We still definitely need more, but with a group this large it's natural that it would take time to get to know all of the guys. We didn't get as much time with Tyson, Addison, and Abel, but what we did get was quality time. And lucky for me, we got plenty of Quinton. I realize that he is a polarizing character, but I love him. He's intense, volatile, his moral compass is questionable, but he's all in. He loves passionately, goes after what he wants with determination, and fiercely protects what he loves. Part dream/part nightmare!
Ariel still has issues, she's sometimes selfish, frustrating or irritating. I would like to see her get out of her own head, stop isolating, whining, and overreacting. When she's delightful, it's easy to see what a great character she could be. I want more of her natural sweetness.

I am absolutely addicted to this series and these characters and listening to it on audio makes it even more enjoyable. Melissa Schwairy does a fantastic job portraying Ariel in all her moods and conveys the different guys nicely giving them all distinctive personalities. I can't wait until they are all on audio.

WOW.

WOW!! This is one of my favorite series. I have read the books multiple times and now I have listened to book 1 multiple times and will be listening to this one again and again. I usually am not a fan of one narrator but Melissa did such an amazing job it didn't bother me at all. I listened to this book straight through and couldn't take a break . Can't wait for the next ♥️
