Cal is a sexy, handsome horse trainer and has been in love with Rachel for a long time, but never told her and always kept it friendly with her.  Rachel felt they had a connection and didn’t know why he didn’t make a move.  This was an awesome novella about Cal and Rachel starting their beautiful life together.

I enjoyed hearing about the Trusty Braden family and knowing what was going on with them now. I love this book and this family so much!  The narration was great too!  I just wish the book was longer so we could hear more of Cal, Rachel and the rest of the family.

Excellent novella. It was nice to see something finally happen between Cal and Rachel since they've been hinting at it for years. The narration was excellent and kept me entertained. The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I can't wait to read more books from this author! Rachel has been crushing on Cal since the first day she met him. After flirting with Rachel for the past two years, Cal is finally ready to make her his. A sweet story of two people finally giving into their attraction to one another on their way to a HEA.

This was a quick read and a great way to catch up with the Braden's of Trusty Colorado with Rachael and Cal's short story. Their story was brief as the pair had feelings that they had yet to act on for a while but they had chemistry that was explosive together. Their HEA was just a matter of time in the making and perfect for them.

In the audio version of this short story, Lance Greenfield and Ava Ericksoni did a great job narrating and bringing this story to life while making it an enjoyable listening experience.

I enjoyed catching up with the Trusty Braden's and seeing what was happening with them now. I enjoyed this book from the first page and would recommend it to others.

I read the ebook first and listened to the audiobook expertly narrated by Lance Greenfield an Ava Erickson.

Here we finally, (FINALLY!) get to revisit our Braden family and friends in Trusty, Colorado for the heart warming and steamy story of Cal Hayden and Rachel Gray. But in this fun Braden flirt we also get to play catch up on what's happening with Braden family.

Strong, sexy and handsome horse trainer, Cal has been in love with hair salon owner Rachel for a very long time, but circumstances prevented him from acting on his feelings. Now his life is in order and he's free to pursue Rachel, but after sending her mixed signals, she's ready to move on. Cal confesses - "Because I got a little lost, or maybe desperate is a better word. I felt something changing in you like you were losing faith in me." He's so in tune with her from loving her from afar.

Cal is a true gentleman cowboy and will melt your heart. His flirting is outrageous and when you see him with Li'l Hal Braden in his arms your ovaries will explode! His sexual innuendoes has sweet and loyal Rachel's heart and head spinning and she doesn't stand a chance. Steady and true Cal wages a full-on assault, including candle making and sensual dancing.

There's so much packed into this novella you won't be disappointed. If this is your first Melissa Foster book or you're just wanting to revisit some Braden friends - this is for you!

Going back to Trusty is like coming home again. I really enjoyed Cal and Rachel’s story and seeing them get together when pretty much everyone knew they should be together. These two are definitely an amazing match and I loved how Cal flirted with Rachel and their night at the fairgrounds, candle making included, finally brought these two together. Add in the Braden’s and this book was great. It was fun to catch up with everyone and all the news, marriage and upcoming babies and of course right in the middle of everything is our favorite Trusty Diner staple, Margie. I felt like I was right there with everybody, hanging out and truly didn’t want to leave. My favorite part was the new addition to the family. I listened to this as an audiobook narrated by Ava Erickson and Lance Greenfield. Ava Erickson is a newer narrator to me but she did a great job narrating with Lance Greenfield. I liked how they alternated off and on during the book and they both did a great job with the characters they narrated for and Ava Erickson’s her sassiness when she narrated some of the ladies, was spot on. They both did a great job and I have to say one of my favorite narrations of a book.

Cal and Rachel have been somewhat dancing around each other for far too long. This short brings it all in to focus for them both. We are back in Trusty, CO. We get updates on the Braden family. We get to see a new romance long in the making. Cal and Rachel have been making eyes at each other for far too long. the time has now come for them to have a little piece of happiness in the is Braden Flirt.

There just something about secondary characters that make an impact that requires them to have their own story. Cal Hayden was one of them. He had been in love with Rachel Gray for eternity. She too had been longing so for him. Things just did not seem like they would go their way until that moment. Melissa Foster knows just how to give it that little something extra that had me falling in love again with a character that I was already for.

Lance and Ava bring all the characters to life new and old. All with a sense of familiarity and home.

Melissa writes another breath taking story about a cowboy and a hairdresser.
Cal Hayden was a master horse trainer and he was one in a million. At the festival where he was going to ride a horse, women hit on him all day. He kept looking for Rachel Gray to come. Rachel's insides turned upside down very time she saw Cal. When Cal finally spotted her talking to another man, he wasn't going to have that, so he went immediately to get to her. They made candles at the fair and that is not all they made.
Lance Greenfield and Ava Erickson does a super job narrating it. They put all the emotions in motion.

This book is a sweet love story of two people that have been attracted to one another for some time but neither of them will act on it until finally everything lines up and the sparks fly. Cal and Rachel are sweet and the love blooms quickly. We get to visit with others in this short story too to catch up a little.

Lance Greenfield and Ava Erickson bring the charm with Cal and Rachel and were a pleasure to listen to.
