Full Steam Ahead!

Melissa had written another fun story! Andi Arndt and Sebastian York narrated and it will keep your earbuds hot to the very end. Treat Braden owned upscale resorts all over the world and was attending a wedding at his Nassau resort when he met Max Armstrong. He tried to get in touch with her afterwards for weeks, to no avail. He had never wanted anything but a casual hook-up but when Max walked into his life, she turned it upside down. Treat goes back to his family ranch in Colorado to try to forget Max. When he got there they were having a festival in town. They were expecting 40,000 people to attend. Max was in charge of getting it organized. When they saw each other things got steamed up. Don't miss this one!

Looove this!

Audiobook: Narrators - Andi Arndt and Sebastian York

What an absolutely incredible job this pair of narrators did performing this story! From the very beginning I was pulled in and totally captivated by both of their voices. It got to where I was so lost in the story that I failed to really noticed when the narrators changed which is not necessarily a voice things as it is a “Gah, I’m looving this!” thing.

I enjoyed the original trilogy of Love in Bloom but holy heck, I’m infatuated with The Bradens!!! Max and Treat were perfect together! While Max was struggling with issues from her past, Treat was the most PERFECT hero ever in the way he was so very careful with her. He made sure that he communicated openly regarding certain topics (don’t want to spoil it) and that helped Max to move forward. I couldn’t love Treat more than I do after his treatment of Max.

This has more emotional drama than anything else, but it never dragged the story down and it wasn’t necessarily a tissue fest. Filled with heart, a bit of wit, and some wonderful secondary characters, this was my favorite of the Love in Bloom series even as the first in The Bradens. Can’t wait to listen to future books!

Max and Treat

Treat and Max had instant chemistry when they met, but a misunderstanding and some insecurities on Max's part kept them apart. Then a chance encounter 6 weeks later puts them together again and Treat is determined to not let Max leave. Except before Max can give her whole self to Treat she needs to face her past and put her past trauma to rest.
Good story, a little more internal plot than I prefer as Max dealt with her past and the emotions that come with her past trauma. I enjoyed the interactions between Treat, his father and the siblings.

This is a "Treat"!

After meeting Treat at the Snow Sister weddings, I couldn't wait to hear his story. And who better to be with than Max! This prince charmingesque story just makes me fall for another Braden! Treat met Max and could not get her out of his head. His time of hookups is over, and he wants to settle down. Max is hesitant. Very hesitant. Yes, she is charmed by Treat, but she holds a deep seeded pain that has never been dealt with. Now on the verge of falling in love, will she deal with her past? Will Treat still want her? Melissa Foster once again delivers a romance that you can't help but love. It's sweet and the Treat is every woman's dream. She also weaves in relevancy, which is what I love about her writing. Max's history could happen to any woman, and dealing with her past is key. Plus the information she finds out from her ex-boyfriend leads us to another real life issue, again dealt with love and compassion. Her characters have real depth and the family just take us in as one of their own. Loved this one!

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring this "treat" to life. I love them together! These seasoned narrators play off each other so well, and understand their characters delivering a performance we can't help but enjoy.

The ultimate alpha hero!

I had read this book so long ago I had almost forgot how much I loved Treat Bradens alpha, sexy as all get out, claiming, baby you are mine attitude! Max never stood a chance. Andi and Sebastian did an incredible job with all of the characters and accents! I warn you that this one book will have you wanting the next and the next and the next cause a Melissa Foster book is like a potato chip, you can’t just have one! So worth the credit and I just adore the Bradens so much! I do have to go back and reread Kaylie’s book and the Snow Sisters trilogy! An incredible listening experience!

another fabulous book

Treat and Max's story was the very beginning of my Melissa Foster obsession. I fell in love with them years ago and their spruced up story made me fall in love with them more. Treat and Max are absolutely wonderful together. They had a rocky start and neither one could get the other out of their minds. When they run into each other again the sparks fly. Lovers at Heart, Reimagined made me fall in love with the Braden family all over again. What a wonderful story.

Sebastioan York and Andi Arndt did a fabulous job with narration, they brought the story to life.

Every girl needs a Treat

Lovers at Heart is the fourth book in the Love in Bloom series. While previously published the updated Reimagined version expands on the story of Max and Treat with more background and a better well-rounded story.

I absolutely fell in love with Treat Braden. I loved that he was an older, more mature man at 37. A nice break from all the young twenty-somethings so common in todays romance genres. His maturity showed in his relationship and patience with Max. Although he dealt with his own past ghosts he did so without angst and drama and faced up to his past. He was so kind and loving with Max he melted my heart.

I adored Max as well. If you have read the earlier books in the Love in Bloom series you have met the competent, efficient executive assistant Max who totally runs Treat’s cousin Chaz’s festival. In this book, we find that Max had a traumatic experience with an ex-boyfriend in college that has colored her faith in her relationships ever since. As usual, Melissa Foster deftly handles challenging issues such as abuse, death and grief in a sensitive and real-life manner. I loved how Max handled her issues. She acknowledged her problems and faced them in the strong, sensible manner we have grown to like about her. Yes, she had emotional moments, but she never fell into a “pity poor me” hole, but looked forward and took active steps to face her demons so she could have the future she wanted with Treat.

This story was sexy and hot but also had a lot of character development. I simply loved how sensible both Treat and Max were while they worked things out. Every girl could use a Treat to love her like he does Max. Throughout the book we meet characters from previous books and are introduced to Treat’s large Braden family, a group who puts family first and supports each other in spite of difference. I look forward to listening to their stories.

This audiobook was narrated by the amazing Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. With this dynamic duo, what more needs to be said. These incredible narrators never fail to do an amazing job. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them.
This is by far my favorite book so far in the series. If you find the Snow Sisters trilogy hard to start with, skip ahead to this first book in the Braden series. You won’t be disappointed.

Sweet Treat

Melissa Foster has this way of writing that gives you drama but then snatches it back before it develops into an annoyance. I love that! This book has MC'S with good communication skills that don't react without getting the full story. Chemistry that gives you hot steamy scenes. No mid story breakup. I love all of that and that's this book. No complaints. The narration is flawless. They compliment each other so well because they both give you their A game and you can clearly hear it.
