About this listen

From New York Times best-selling author, Kristen Proby, comes the latest in her beloved With Me In Seattle Series, Love With Me.

Best friends from college. Plus-ones since med school. A chance for something new... Jace Crawford heals hearts for a living. More than that, medicine is his life. To become the leading cardiothoracic surgeon on the West Coast, he’s made sacrifices. No social life. He barely has time to sleep. Love? Forget about it. But when everything goes horribly wrong on his table, and he unexpectedly loses a patient, Jace is suspended from work. When a man has nothing but his job, what does he do when that’s gone?

Joy Thompson collects unwanted strays. A dog with one eye, a three-legged cat, a bird that swears like a sailor? All part and parcel of her veterinary business. It helps pass the time. Until Jace calls out of the blue to ask her out on a real date.

Spending extra time with him is dangerous. Her feelings for her best friend have always been stronger than simple companionship. If she gets attached, what happens when he goes back to work and leaves her behind? But as the weeks progress, falling for each other is inevitable. This time, Jace’s heart is the one that will need fixing before both of them end up broken.

Jace and Joy best friends turned romantic. It was very sweet and both were afraid of the change as they became romantically involved. A few bumps are normal though and we're able to be worked through.

Sweet story

Kristen Proby has done it once again. The With Me in Seattle series comes alive with Joy and Jace and the Williams and Montgomery families. I can never get enough. I am awaiting a book for Joy’s sister Noelle and Jace’s brother Levi.

Joy and Jace are so refreshing

Another cute one from Kristen, not super steamy and almost sickly sweet intimate moments . Im greatfull how she has kept expanding on the lil world we fell in love with in Seattle. The storys not super packed with angsty moments but its still a sweet listen..

I have to admit, I was not too sure about Joan as a narriator, at first,, this was my first time with her but the way the character was written and the way Joan emoted the words it made perfect sense within the first few chapters why she was the best choice. Lee also did great I've head him before and he's quite enjoyable.

Another great story in the With Me In Seattle World!!

I adored Jace and Joy and how they felt like home from word one go! Best friends for 15+ years and he starts to see her in a new light that allows them to switch from friendship love to romantic love with ease.

There isn’t the typical contrived miscommunication that leads to a monster break up either.

They have some struggles keeping their new dynamic when Jace goes back to work after a
month off. They have a medium level fight about it but it feels real.

The whole book feels like I’m hearing about something my friend down the street is dealing with.

It was nice hearing a dash about a few of the original group too!

Very well done!
❤️❤️

Loved This One!

Once again author Kristen Proby scores with an interesting plot and well developed characters. Jace and Joy’s friends to lovers story hit all the buttons for me. I loved listening to the wonderful narrators, Joan Delaware and Lee Samuels as they journeyed to their HEA.

Great addition to the With Me in Seattle series.

This is one of the best series, and there isn’t a bad book in the series. Kristen Proby did not disappoint with this addition. Jace and Joy are great and show such love and respect for each other. Plus of course we get to see so many characters from other books in this series. Can’t wait for Levi’s story. Seeing how the friends to lovers works here is great. Plus Jaces work dilemma is so good. Cannot wait for the next addition to this series and listen from Kristen Proby. Narration by le Samuels and Joan Delaware was not disappointing

Love jace and joy
