About this listen

From the author of Perfect Timing, Cheyenne Amber, and other beloved best sellers. To support her orphaned niece, impoverished Brianna O'Keefe accepts work with a Colorado rancher. To guard herself from unwanted attention, she resorts to a harmless little lie: that she's married to a Denver gold miner named David Paxton. But when her "husband" shows up, Brianna is stunned - not the least by her desire.

wonderful

I'm not going to talk about the story line you can find that. The story was well written, like everything else she writes. I was pulled in from the beginning and never found a moment where I didn't enjoy a minute. the narration was vivid and helped to bring the already colorful characters to life. I hope she adds the rest of her books to audible.

Not one of her best.

We’re we supposed to hate the main female character??? I almost didn’t finish the book because she was a pretentious (you’ll have to read the book to understand why I used this word) a-hole. Let’s not forget her air of superiority. Where did that come from? Anderson is one extreme or another for me. I either love it or don’t. Nothing in between.
