good intoduction

This book is ideal for people first coming into ML looking for a clear high-level introduction. Having said that, the book is also quite practical too, and I had good fun going through the example exercises to build regression lines and scrub datasets

Best ML intro book !

This is the best introduction book I have read in ML. It is very well written, good flow, clear language, easy to the grasp and understand. So much knowledge to absorb. It covers the core concept. I strongly recommend to any out there interested in this domain.

very great

Hugh does it again, transporting us to alien worlds and into alien minds. Throughout, he examines and questions and makes us think about the world as we experience it. True talent, this author offers us this stunning chance to question along with him

excellent overview

This is an excellent overview to the complex world of machine learning. I was able to get a beginners understanding of the process well as I learned of this through the audio book. Great overall for helping with a tough knowledge to gain.

GOOD OVERVIEW

This provides an excellent overview of the major techniques. It's definitely worth LISTENING.

It could've been a little more specific at points, though. In particular, it doesn't really contain a lot of details on how to implement the techniques it describes, but I suppose that that would've required a much longer book

CLEAR GUIDE

Clear and concise introduction to ML. If you don’t have a background in data science, I wouldn’t let this stop you from picking up this book. My own expertise is in mobile web development, which is outside the scope of this book title, but I had no problems going through it.

very detailed

Happy to offer this book a glowing endorsement to beginners. Nothing in this book is intimidating. I was worried that I might get lost halfway through after the author started introducing the various algorithms. But no, this is where the book got significantly better. The visual examples and clear instructions made the rest of the book a breeze to follow. Although it was easy to follow, . For a high-level introduction, it was concise and detailed.
