About this listen

They think they know me, but they have no idea.

As a professional Domme, I see men and women come and go. But no one ever sticks around, and I like it that way.

I have a secret to protect—at all costs.

So when the cocky, handsome, and submissive Clay Bradley weasels his way into my heart, I do the one thing I’ve always excelled at. I push him away—forever.

And like a good boy, he listens.

But a few months later, during a chance encounter, he shows up again, but this time he isn’t alone.

He has the stunning Jade on his arm.

And she has a request of her own. She wants me to teach her.

I should say no.

Training a woman who makes my knees weak is bad enough. But this particular woman is dating the man who still has my heart. It’s a recipe for disaster.

Made worse by one simple thing: they know my secret.

And they won’t let go.

But how can I protect what’s mine if I’m holding onto them too?

Jade and Clay are the only ones who truly see me and the only ones who know…

I’m so much more than Madame.

first time reading a book with this trope and it was haaaaaaawt

I would say that this was a very good story. there were moments where my heart was hurting and moments when my mouth was on the floor.

this book is pretty intricate but very well arranged.

Outstanding Story & Listen🎧Consuming & Heartfelt!

Sara Cate never ceases to amaze me with her incredible writing style and ability to create captivating stories. Once I start, nothing else matters except what is going to happen next, and I am completely immersed in the story and the world she created. Through her descriptive writing, you can see, think, and feel everything the characters do. This sixth book of the “Salacious Players’ Club, the last book of the series, is Eden St. Claire’s story. Eden aka Madame Kink is a highly respected dominatrix, and the most requested in the club. She has been with the club from the start and her input helped make it into the success it was. But there is so much more to who Eden was, she lived two lives, her life in the club and her life as a single mom of a darling son, Jack. She aced both lives but always kept them separate, except for a couple of people, she did not let anyone get close. So when she developed feelings for one of her subs, Clay Bradley, who got too close to her, she automatically pushed him away. She broke Clay’s heart and when he finally moved on with his life and found happiness with another, Jade Penner, he runs into Eden again and it stirs up his feelings again. Meeting her stirred up something in Jade too, and she felt the need to learn more about her and her world in SPC. I loved how everything played out in this book, the plotting and world building is fantastic, as is the character growth and development. It was great to watch the relationship between the characters grow, sure they had to work to get their HEA, but their love for each other prevailed. The dynamics of this trouple is absolutely amazing, and I loved the epilogues and to see how much they all grew. This wonderfully plotted story has a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Sara Cate, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I am hoping this is not the last we see of these characters and the fabulous world you created.

🎧 📚🎧 Muffy Newtown, Brandon Francis and Maxine Mitchell did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting and were believable in every role. Newtown killed it as Eden, grasping every aspect of her personality, from a loving mother to the well respected and kickarse Domme that she is and everything in between. Francis nailed it as Clay, grasping his personality with perfection. Mitchell did the same as Jade, capturing her youthfulness, sunny disposition, and eagerness to learn. They were just as amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters, too, including Jack. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to, and their narration elevates an already brilliant story another level. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Similar to the others

Same type of storyline as the books before, and predictable. I still loved learning more about Eden!

Third wheel?

I absolutely love this book as well as all the other ones in this series. But I can’t help but still feel like Eden is more of a third wheel, like she is an addition to this relationship rather than the THREE of them are in the relationship together..? It’s like Clay is SO worried about Jade, he only cares about how she is feeling about the situation, whether or not she’s hurting, etc. I don’t see the same care towards Eden. Maybe it’s because he got hurt before or maybe because he is in a relationship with Jade and Eden just came into it.. but that’s how it feels. The POV of Clay is always more caring towards Jade and this is supposed to be ALL ABLUT EDEN. This is Eden’s story. NOT Jade’s. I like the little minx, don’t get me wrong but idk. I feel like this is a book about Jade and how she feels and Eden is, like I stated, a third wheel. An accessory to their relationship. It’s disappointing.. and as Eden submits herself, I absolutely hate that it’s in Clay’s POV. I feel like he’s still more focused on Jade. Jade. Jade. Jade. Everything is about Jade and how Jade feels and how Eden can please Jade and how Jade feels and holding onto Jade. Idk. It’s just discouraging. I don’t feel the same unity with them that I felt with Hunter, Drake, and Isabel.
He’s more focused on Jade. wtf

Loved this one the best

This last installment is my favorite in the series. I’m glad we get the privilege to know who Eden/Madame Kink truly is. The dynamic between Eden, Jade, and Clay is electric.

Madame deserved a grand finale

I love that Madame St. Clair was the beautiful bow that tied the series. I also enjoyed the creative ending and Jack's future endeavor. Jade evolved well, and Clay is a lucky man.💜

Practically Perfect

I’ve been told this is the last in the SPC series. If this is truly the case, it was a perfect ending.

This is by far my favorite of the series. Well paced and sexy af. Eden has always been a character I wanted to learn more about and boy did this book deliver.
