Fausto & Francesca are the ideal mafia couple. I devoured these first two books and can not wait to continue with more from this world. I truly enjoyed their passion and having the audio just made that better!

This was a good ending to Fausto and Francesca’s story. But there were parts that just felt long to me. Fausto softened a bit from book 1 and he really needed to. But I wish he had groveled just a bit more. He said horrible things and showed Frankie she couldn’t trust him twice. He had some sweet moments. But it just didn’t soothe all my ruffled feathers from the end of book 1. But this was still entertaining.

So far, the series has been one of my favorites. It had a little bit of everything. She’s a great storyteller, and she got some of the best narrators I’ve heard. So good!

Fausto Redeemed! I so detested him in the first book. I love love love Francesca & her willingness to call out the BS. I am also happy that Fausto redeemed himself in this book. This is a very good series & the narration was well done.

The spice is plentiful. My god. The narrators are pure velvet. I initially rented the series on Libby and loved it so much I bought it on Audible.

Sometimes when the spicy is this plentiful it gets redundant but not in this case.

The plot line is compelling too. I loved this story because Francesca is a spit fire and she doesn’t cower. So many mafia romances it’s all male domination and women being bartered for power and they go along with it with grumbles and pouts. Not Francesca. She makes him earn. it. Her backbone stays strong throughout. She doesn’t sacrifice her morals, doesn’t matter the cost. Loved it. And Fausto, get out of here. Talk about a progressive character arch. I loved how he openly expressed love for his son.

Great story. Can’t wait to listen to the rest. Also I’ll be renting every single book these two narrate from now on. Holy lord. ::fans self::
