About this listen

It is up to Juan Cabrillo and the crew of his ship, the Oregon, to stop a terrorist plot to release a deadly chemical weapon across the globe in the explosive new novel in Clive Cussler's number-one New York Times best-selling series.

While interrupting an attack on a Kuwaiti oil tanker, Juan Cabrillo and his team discover something even more dangerous: A ruthless billionaire's dying wish has allowed a paralyzing chemical to end up in the hands of a terrorist group. When an Oregon crew member falls victim to the poison, Juan Cabrillo will stop at nothing to find an antidote before it is too late. He and his team must connect an ancient mystery with a cunning modern enemy in order to save millions of innocent lives, including their own.

The Oregon and it's free are my kind of super heroes and always love the performance by Scott Brick!

Thrilling to the end! I love this series!

Fairly new to Clive cussler and enjoying his style. Tremendous action, lots of tense moments, opportunities to think about new ‘what if’ technology, but as is true with series books like this it’s sure to work out and the hero will figure out a last minute solution. But after a few books of the series I’m ready for something completely different. It’s an enjoyable read, light reading for a week poolside.
Scott Brick is amazing!

Interesting unique story

Clive Cussler did an excellent job putting this thrill ride of a book together. Not stop action as Juan and his crew stop someone else from inflicting massive pain and destruction. Scott Brick also did an excellent job with the many characters in the book.

Never Disappointed!

As expected the NEW Oregon preformed with all its upgrades with accuracy and finesse. Best to start at the beginning of this fantastic series

Great read

I have read all the books in the series and this is another exciting and entertaining story on the high seas. Juan and the crew face unusual danger as they attempt to foil a terrorist plot in Australia. The plot is taut and fast paced; it was hard to stop listening. Scott brick’s excellent narration adds to the suspense. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good thriller.

Another good entry in the Oregon files series

if this series is new to you, understand it's a swashbuckling adventure and give it a try. if it's not new to you I hope you love this return as much as I did. Scott bricks performance, as always, can't be beat. it's especially gratifying after losing Clive this year. enjoy!

Try it if it's new, love it if it's not!

I love the Oregon Files. This story lived up to my expectations. I have been reading Clive Cussler since I was 11 years old (37 years ago) starting with "Night Probe," still one of my all-time favorites. While I will always best-love the grittiness of the earliest Dirk Pitt stories, the Oregon files are my favorite tales from his later writing. Juan is my "Plan A." No need to unearth a plan c as long as the new writer(s) can keep true to the characters and overall tone of the stories.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

Not a classic installment … but still really good and fun-and-worthwhile listen. Scott Brick, as always. Is the best in the business …

Really good … not quite great

Wow, what a fabulous Oregon files book. Full of nonstop adventure from the very first chapter and it was great to see the Oregon back on the water. Highly recommend it. Thank you Clive Cussler for bringing Juan and the crew and may you rest in peace.
