About this listen

A mysterious stranger she can't stay away from, a birthmark with a hidden meaning, and one bite that changes 17-year-old Tessa Morganton's destiny forever....

Life for Tessa had always been steady and calm - with the exception of her overly jealous boyfriend - until the moment Jace Fowler walked into her life.

Jace - incredibly charming with boy band good looks - is someone whom Tessa can't seem to stay away from...no matter how much she knows she should.

After surviving a strange animal attack, Tessa learns just how mysterious and secretive Jace really is, and that his secrets not only involve himself...but her as well, making Tessa question everything she's ever believed regarding her life and those around her.

Howling at the Moon!

I enjoyed this story. Very well written and age appropriate for the YA genre. Jennifer presented well developed characters and a likeable storyline.

Betty Soo is a new narrator to me and she did the story justice. In had no problems listening to her as any of the characters except Rachel. I thought her version of Rachel made her sound older than 18. However, that did not prevent me from continuing.

The only downfall of this audiobook was the feedback in various chapters. It may have been a mic issues, but at least 5 chapters had noise. May want to check the sound and mic on the next book.

Paw prints

This is my first ever audiobook! Never thought I would like them but I was wrong, I love them. The narrarration is great! It flowed so smoothly. This story is hard to rate. I liked all the characters. I was really upset with Jace for not giving Tessa a choice but I'm sure there's more to it than that. I can't stand Shelby! Ugh! The story was full of suspense and kept making me want more. No dull moments. However, while the ending wasn't really a cliff hanger, I REALLY didn't like that it seems more like "part 1" of the story. If questions are answered in the second book I will be very happy

Great book

I don't think some of the reviews I read were very accurate. I went into this book thinking that I wouldn't like it, but I ended up loving it. even though the main character is Young it is not one of those adolescent books where there's a group of Mean Girls or petty stuff. another review talks about the MC cheating, but her boyfriend was an emotionally abusive jerk, so I didn't mind. She only kissed someone else and then broke it off. it will be interesting to see how the MC deals with her newly found world and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Just no.

This story started out bothersome due to the mc being a cheater. It got better once she stopped, and then it just kept wavering between decent and annoying. Then by the end, I just kind of wanted to burn the book. Unfortunately, I don't have a physical copy to destroy. I wish it wouldn't have kept giving me hope of becoming good before ending so horrendously. Then perhaps I might have stopped listening. The only redeeming factor was the narrator. She did a great job.

you keep waiting hoping it will be better but there is just to much filler and the ending sucks maybe the next book might be better but overall it was to much extra stuff
