This Author does a thorough job in introducing reader to the fascinating ancient history & origins of various Martial Arts. I was enlightened to a plethora of facts including Karate being used by Ancient Samaria Warriors & how it was still used to train military forces, 2,000 years later.
Part 2 was an amazing hands-on lesson in the basics of Taekwondo & Jujitsu. Here, the Author narrows his scope to training & execution details including stretching, exercise, nutrition as well as proper stances with powerful attack & defense techniques.
This book successfully leads you through the unique world of Martial Arts. It delivers valuable information & core skills needed for mental focus, physical stamina & self-defense.
