About this listen

He was infuriating, arrogant, and conceited. He was also my new seatmate. Fifteen hours stuck next to the definition of tall, dark, and handsome, and the only thing on his mind on our trip from California to Sydney...was me. Ky Bateman made no secret of the fact he wanted me, and I made it clear he drove me crazy.

When my resolve finally wavered, we made a bet. I lost, he won, and I found myself on the back of his motorcycle, on the adventure of a lifetime. I never intended to fall for the master manipulator, especially when I knew I was keeping secrets that could destroy everything between us.

All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

still drooling over the accents

One of my favorite parts of this book was the Cameo's from past characters. It was so fun and exciting to get a small glimpse of their lives again. (Grab her other books to catch some of the references. Lucy in the sky 💎😍) This is a standalone, so you don't have to read the others, but I have more fun when I'm already invested in some of the other characters.

Kai and Blake's banter was absolutely hilarious. I constantly caught myself smiling or laughing along with the characters. I was instantly in love with them from the beginning, but something odd happened starting in chapter 34. I won't go too in depth because I don't want to give anything away, but this was the first time that I can ever remember starting to not like a main character in the end. Don't get me wrong, the book definitely ends on a happy note, but there were a few things Kai said and did that just really made me not love him quite as much as I had the rest of the story. Also, without giving anything away, Blake was given a choice in the epilogue on something important, and based off of the way she reacted, I wouldn't be surprised if she repeated her own history.

To wrap it up, this is definitely a must purchase. The narrators were absolutely amazing to listen to and the store never once became slow of boring. Even with the bad taste in my mouth at the end, I still very much so enjoyed the resolution. Their banter seriously is addictive!!

the narrators were both great!

I like him more than her. I'm seeing a theme with the Hero Club series, where some if the men are more likeable than the women. Which is a bit of a change from other romances. I really didn't appreciate the indecisiveness of the lead female but overall am glad for the happy ending.

love the male narrator!

Manipulating many people to maneuver a woman who didn't like him to sit next to him on a plane, complains three days later that she didn't tell him the truth about her circumstances from the beginning. I think I will leave that right out there as the big negative. It was a cute story though and he did suffer for pushing so hard from the beginning for more than she even knew she was ready for. I mean three days dude? I don't share everything for weeks or even months when I date. She tried to tell him, but who pushed for more so fast? So yeah, my only gripe. I loved the rest.

Great

Awesome and loved the references to some Vi Keeland books. Had that whole it’s a small world feel cause your reading a book and hearing about characters that you loved from others just made it more for me. Absolutely loved the ask Ida part. If you have read Stuck up suit by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward then you would get it. If not go read it. 4 stars

Christian Fox is the best

The story was entertaining, Madison did a great job! Christian Fox had me speechless, I am pretty sure I had dreams of his voice!! Awards should be dispersed immediately!

Love the story line!!!!

Okay for me the accents were a bit much at times. However, the performance was amazing! Please don’t sleep on this one! 😍😍😍

Okay

The first book that started the “Hero Club Series” Soraya and Graham’s story Is “Stuck-Up Suit” by ViKeeland and Penelope Ward it took me forever to figure it out.
You don’t need to read the first book but if you want to....
