Some people bounce back in response to setbacks; others break. We often think that these responses are hardwired, but fortunately this is not the case. Stoicism offers us an alternative approach. Plumbing the wisdom of one of the most popular and successful schools of thought from ancient Rome, philosopher William B. Irvine teaches us to turn any challenge on its head. The Stoic Challenge, then, is the ultimate guide to improving your quality of life through tactics developed by ancient Stoics, from Marcus Aurelius and Seneca to Epictetus.

Great book! PLEASE READ BELOW
Very easy to listen to, soothing voice, and gives plenty of examples when going over terms (something some audiobooks fail to do, making it harder to learn the root/prefix well enough).
WARNING: I have listened to a lot of Medical terminology books. This book is great, but I did come across a book (named below) where I noticed all 95 reviews it has were left within 2 days. Many of them have elementary grammatical errors (not common among medical students). Buy THIS book, and others with genuine reviews. Not the book below. It sucks we can't rely on reviews on Audible.com. Good luck learning Medical Terminology!
