Story
Joan Rivers is a groundbreaking, award-winning, internationally renowned entertainment goddess. She’s also opinionated - especially when it comes to people she hates. Like people who think giving birth is a unique achievement. Or well-adjusted - a.k.a. boring - ex-child stars who don’t even have a decent addiction. With all of her diverse experiences, it stands to reason that Joan has seen, done, said, and heard a lot of hateful things. Thank god, she took notes.

The only thing my mother loved more than making people laugh was lying...or as she'd say, "embellishing." Her motto was: "Why let the truth ruin a good story?" This book contains some of those stories.

Henry Winkler, launched into prominence as “The Fonz” in the beloved Happy Days, has transcended the role that made him who he is. Brilliant, funny, and widely regarded as the nicest man in Hollywood (though he would be the first to tell you that it’s simply not the case, he’s really just grateful to be here), Henry shares in this achingly vulnerable memoir the disheartening truth of his childhood, the difficulties of a life with severe dyslexia, the pressures of a role that takes on a life of its own, and the path forward once your wildest dream seems behind you.

Not your usual Joan Rivers book - but still funny!
Where does Men Are Stupid...And They Like Big Boobs rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book is different than Joan's other books, in that it's a great explanation of all sorts of Plastic Surgery and other Cosmetic Options available. Super informative but still told with that Joan Rivers style and humor.
Any additional comments?
Being an informational book, it's not as funny as Joan's usual material BUT she's able to deliver what could be boring, dry material in a captivating - and funny way. Typical Joan River's style!

Serious book about plastic surgery
This is not a book of jokes. Joan Rivers speaks frankly and technically about every kind of cosmetic surgery one can imagine. Her information is well-researched and thorough.

Fun Place to Start
Would you listen to Men Are Stupid...And They Like Big Boobs again? Why?
I've listened to it a little over two times. Joan is--was :(--super entertaining, so the information that IS delivered is that much easier to remember and understand.
What about Joan Rivers’s performance did you like?
She's got some of her stand-up style in it. It's funny. I've listened to it when I was down in the dumps--partly because I've been thinking about having some work done and I get down about how unsupportive some of my friends can be--and it's helped me turn my mood around. She makes me laugh, and maybe she'll do the same for you.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Men Are Stupid...And They Like Big Boobs?
Her suggestions about how to find the right doctor. She's really made me get to the point where I'll spend the extra money, just to make sure that I'm working with a doctor who I feel totally good about.
Any additional comments?
I want more in-depth information about the particular procedures I'm interested in. Sometimes I'm disappointed with how superficial some of the descriptions are. But overall, Joan's given me a great introduction into becoming a consumer of plastic surgery and/or cosmetic procedure.

The best information on plastic surgery ever!!
What an absolutely fantastic book. Not only was it funny, of course with Joan Rivers what could it be, but so informative! Everyone has always wondered; what it would be like to have a surgical procedure done. Joan goes in depth and tells you all. Some funny, some scary. But she always tells the truth. A definite handbook for anyone considering plastic surgery. Thank you John.

Not what I was expecting at all!
Would you try another book from Joan Rivers and/or Joan Rivers?
No because I own all the other audiobooks on here by JoanRivers !
What could Joan Rivers have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Everyone of her audiobooks there are always ad lib.'s or not from her books that she throws into it and make it kind of funny this one was just gruesome details about plastic surgery that I thought was not clever at all . End with Joan Rivers she's always funny and even with the title and the cover it's funny so I figured that would've been some funny parts even though this book was not meant to be a comedic book it was meant being more educational but in the book there are funny parts and she didn't make them funny. Come on this is JoanRivers end it said that this was one of her last few audiobooks to be recorded . Enough said
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Joan Rivers?
No
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
