"Good Introduction"

All and all, it was a good introduction to what is Mentalism.

Don't expect to find any specifics about the tricks, but is a good place to start.

Lots of examples but not how to..

I was looking for more about learning skills. Totally misread the title. It was ok but missed the mark.

Not bad... not great.

It wasn't terrible. Far from in depth. Try 13 Steps or Tricks of the Mind.

Short/Shallow Introduction To Mentalism

First, this audiobook is EXTREMELY short. There are few chapters, and some are three minutes or less. Free YouTube videos have more information. A significant portion consists of vague references to “secrets” such as “reading body language.” Ex: shaking the head means disbelief; nodding means agreement. Duh! Few secrets here. Surveying the author’s other books, It seems that she picks a random topic of interest to her, reads a bit, and then writes a book as if she were an expert. She seems to have zero actual experience in mentalism. But, the reader’s voice is pleasant.

Waste of money.

This is a book report read aloud. Pretty disappointed. I'd look into any other book but this. Wikipedia has this much information or more on the topic.

Disappointed

I'm glad I didn't use a credit for this book. While the narration was good, the content is lacking. I found the same exact content on YouTube a month ago and again on a Wiki page from a year ago. I was hoping for practical examples and stories of how popular mentalist use their skills.
