Publisher's summary

As the former Messenger Archangel, Gabriel has had lifetimes to search for the one woman intended for him. So he's surprised to discover Juliette Anderson in the dark corner of his favorite pub in Scotland, the land he's called home for2,000 years - and the last place he expected to find her. The connection between them is strong, hot and instantaneous.

Juliette is in the town to gather research for her doctoral thesis. She doesn't need a tall, gorgeous man with silver eyes to distract her. Especially after he kisses her and calls her his archess. She figures he's crazy. Until she finds herself pursued by dangerous men, led by a fallen archangel with vampiric tendencies. Now Juliette must turn to Gabriel for help - and unravel the truth behind her existence.

Steamy

Would you consider the audio edition of Messenger's Angel to be better than the print version?

No really, I love listening, because it sets the seen as watching a movie.

What did you like best about this story?

This story grabbed me from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
I love how all of the men in Heather's books are strong, masculine, sexy men and Gabe is no exception. Juliette is every bit as strong as Gabe which makes for amazing chemistry and passion. The setting in Scotland is magical. The way Heather describes it makes you feel like you belong there. The shocker!!!! (drum roll, Azrael's archesses is revealed!!)

Which scene was your favorite?

The written scenes of Scotland.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, Azrael's archesses is revealed

Narration

This book was pretty good but the narration of Gabriel's voice was a little to b desired. It actually made me giggle a little because it sounds like a terrible Sean Connery. I was able to overlook that but it was a little annoying.

Already downloaded the next book!!

Book one intrigued me and so I went and got book 2 now I am so glad I did! All the characters are well written and introduced. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat, when you think you know what's going to happen there's a little twist and that twist builds on more and more. People this is not like any other "angels" book. You can start on book 2 but will need to go back to 1 to know know the characters are

At first the narrator was a little anoying, but holy crap he is the perfect narrator for all of these books! His interpetation of Gabriel has a hint of Sean Conneray and it fits!

Listen to me and try this book out...

Happy listenings :)

EVERY SINGLE PARAGRAPH WAS JUST.......WOW

I was hooked from the very start - it was Gabriel's turn to find his soul mate and what a journey it's been - to Scotland where we first find the sexy Archangel. I absolutely love love love these books because, as the stories unfold, they reveal more and more of the character's abilities, thoughts, intentions, strengths and weaknesses and the plots have so many twists and turns that you have to just stop assuming, sit back and enjoy rather than assume a thing only to be taken down a completely different path - you just don't know what's coming next.

All the characters in the previous book are included then brought forward to this book. Even the bad guys are all handsome with different abilities and you get involved in their stories too.

Narrator did a fantastic job of all the accents including the deep Scottish sexy brogue of Gabriel which was de......lish.....ous.

Azrael's story is next who's a dark brooding Vampire as well as an Archangel who only wears black - so I can't wait. I just hope HKW will give us a happy ending for Sam too.

Worth a credit? Err let me think? YES YES YES !!!

Gabriel and Juliette

Fortunately for these two star crossed lovers their ending isn’t like”Romeo”and Juliette. There must be an apocalypse coming since all the Arches’s are coming out of the wood work. The story was alright, although when I think of the”ArcAngels”I think of Heavenly, warriors that can’t be defeated or tainted, not of or for this World.Devine.Making them part of the”mortal “world kind of takes away some of their thunder.Still a fairly good story. The narrator makes the story better. He’s got an excellent story telling voice and a great accent.

Lovely

Another excellent story by this author. Narrators performance was very good with all characters except for one....Azriel!! He makes the all powerful vampire sound like Bullwinkle!!

Not Heavenly, but close

This is the second book in the Lost Angels series, and I enjoyed it. The Angels' stories are quite intriguing and rather well written for this type of book. My only problems really is that nearly the entire first half of the book contains very little interaction between the couple this romance is supposed to be about. Instead, it focused on "the bad guys", the history of the couple in the last book, the "we don't know if he's a bad guy or not" character, and the hero and heroines relationships with everyone but each other. These books are just very busy, with more bad guys and "maybe bad guys" than clearly good guys.

However, the second half of the book is much better. There were many surpises, twists and turns on the way to the predictable "happily ever after" for the couple. All in all, these books are worth a read if you enjoy paranormal romance, and I certainly do.
