Can the way you view your body change, when all you see are scars?
Nathan Bridges is an exhibitionist who loves his life as a Dom. Then one fateful day, that all changed and Nathan has spent the last 10 years hiding from what happened.
That is until Lenny shows him what true bravery is.
The feelings he has for Lenny give him back what has been missing from his life and allows Nathan to truly embrace the present and let go of the past to see that beauty is more than just a body.
But life is never that simple, as forces beyond their control work against them.
This is the second part of the Mine, Body, and Soul trilogy in The Playroom series. It is an MM age gap gay romance with aspects of BDSM, and a sexual awakening that has the power to free both men from the chains of their past and drive the true Dom inside Nathan to reappear.
This is the second book in the trilogy and the author advises that these books should be read in order to better understand the storyline. This book ends on a cliffhanger with the HEA coming in the third and final book.
Warning: This book contains some violence and touches briefly on past traumas and childhood issues.

The incident in the Doctor's office had me laughing when Lenny asked Nathan for the phone after calling Carl to ket him know that Lenny will be talking a few weeks off work for his Surgery.
It was like Lenny flip a switch, I was like is 'He topping from the bottom?"
The punishment he was gonna get.
Flash forward to the last chapter- That Cliffhanger had me screaming and imagining, was it Lenny doing the beating or was it Lenny being beaten.
I'm hoping it was Lenny doing the beating.
J P Sayle, you have done it again with part II of Mine, Body and Soul, It make the reader crave for more.
THANK YOU.
One of the GREATEST

Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: absolutely
Was there anything that didn't work for me? only the cliffhanger because I NEED to know whats happening (lol) !!!
What did I like about the story? good pace, well written characters and an interesting story-line. I'm very much enjoying watching Lenny and Nate evolve and grow together and am happy Lenny can fill the empty places in Nate's heart.
The cliffhanger ending has just left me wanting more.
.. it's been a long time since i've had such a reaction to a book! ❤
I'm more invested in these guys than I expected too be and had surprisingly strong emotional reactions during certain scenes in this book.
Narrator comment: I enjoyed Matt Haynes' performance and think he's done a great job narrating Mine, Body and Soul: Part 2. I had no problem distinguishing characters, his rhythm, intonations and cadence of voice all bring the story to life.
.... can I have the next one now pleeeeease ! 😁

In this second part of the trilogy of Lenny and Nates story we get to see them connect more and grow closer as Lenny gets the much awaited news he was hoping for.
There are points in this story that will leave you smiling, gasping and then leave you just wanting to dive into part three.
The narration was engaging and Mr Hayes does a fantastic job of keeping with the originality of the characters voices from part one.
What's happened to Lenny ?
