Publisher's summary

They say that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For every choice you make there are rewards or consequences. It was my choice to walk away the first time. And my choice to chase her the second. But sometimes you don't get a choice, and all you get are the consequences.

They say that being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Unless that someone is Logan Matthews. Because loving him didn't give me the strength to walk away. It didn't give me the courage to fight for him. And when it was over, all it gave me was a broken heart.

great story, but read it.

I love Jay McLean! I love this series, but the male narrator is so painful to listen to he ruins my favorite character in the series. Great story, just skip the audio version.

Amazing book in print & audio

I have read this book no less than 4 times and now hearing the audio, I'm they much more in love. Jay McLean has this amazing gift of adding the perfect amount of everything into her books. It's funny, it's sad, it's joyful, it's inspiring, it's sexy, it's torture but most of all, it's perfect.

Charles and Tatiana did a great job narrating and putting voices to these characters that I love. Worth the credit or the money, hands down.

I was looking forward to Logan's story throughout all of More Than This. I had so many questions about him and couldn't wait to get those answers and dive into this story. Logan is a beautiful complex character! He is not without his flaws. He definitely made mistakes but there was something about him that you couldn't help but route for. Amanda is a fighter. She is resillient to all that life has thrown at her and she has a big forgiving heart! A common theme in this series so far beyond the love is friendship. I love all the the characters, even secondary and their love for one another. There bound is incredible and I cannot wait for their stories later in the series. Jay McLean writes with passion, heart and angst. There is nothing predictable about her writing and throughout the entire book I was addicted to the story and every page kept me wanting more, more more!! My reason for rating this 4 stars is that there is A LOT of teenage angsty drama that honestly got to be too much for me at times but in no way did it take away for my love of this story and these characters. Cannot wait to start More Than Him, next!

Tatiana Sokolov and Charles Constant did a good job with the narration although I would have picked narrators that sounded a little younger to match the characters ages.

Falling deeper for Logan Matthews...

What made the experience of listening to More Than Her the most enjoyable?

Freaking AMAZING! I thought Jake and Mikayla's story in "More Than This" (More Than #1) was something but DAMN Logan and Amanda's story was just as intense and emotional maybe even more because of their back history not with each other but within themselves too. Thinking about it just gives me the chills and warm and fuzzies all over.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hands down my favorite character is Logan Matthews. You can either love him or hate him but for me regardless of how he acts he has a story that makes him who and how he is. He had my emotions all over the place and I could not help but fall for his complex personalities.

What does Charles Constant and Tatiana Sokolov bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I got to delve deeper listening to what the characters were going through making the Logan and Amanda's story so much more for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, most definitely I totally wanted to listen all in one sitting. Logan Matthews is one of my top book boyfriends after all.

If I could I'd choke the leading guy in this book!

I understand Logan's reasoning, but he should talk too Amanda before making snap decisions. That's all I'm saying!

love the story

love the story, audiobook is ok. dont care for the female narrator. could tell some parts of the male were redone after, the voice didnt flow and it would sound like it stopped and started again. 1 inconsistency that bothered me was Jake's family all had accents in this book but in book 1 jake explained that only he had one, no one else in his family did.

More of a Good Thing

Humorous, joyful, sad, inspiring... the story is all these things and more. Much of it is McLean's signature angst, there's ultimately perfection.

There were moments when characters without a previous accent suddenly developed one in this book. The male narrative wasn't without mistakes. Loved the female narrator.

Great book only one part bothered me

This book being the second in this series was just as good as the first one! I loved the story line but there’s one part that bothered me. The part where jakes family come in, they all have Australian accents. Which is incorrect. While Jake is supposed to have the accent, the rest of his family isn’t supposed to have one. This was a subject that was throughly explained in the first book so the fact that the people reading this one didn’t acknowledge that really bothered me for some reason.
