Book 2 took book 1, shook it up, tossed it around and then revved me almost over the edge with it all. So much action going on (no spoilers), a demon trying to take over Lily Yu, political shenanigans with local and Washington D.C. law enforcement, a good number of magical surprises and more to come in this creative twist on about every kind of paranormal type/trope and then some. Whew. Urban Fantasy plus other stuff. Impossible for me to pin it down and it does not matter. If you like urban fantasy with action, just read the series. Graphic Audio does an amazing job bringing this story to life.

Sooo busy and weirdly creative

I loved this story. I am extremely exicited that the series has finally made it to Audible. The World of the Lupi series world building is excellent. The characters are well developed and interesting. I can't help but love Lily and the way she handles the seperation. I look forward to seeing how the new characters are intergrated into the series.

I really enjoy these dramatized versions. I like the fact they have good narrators. I get tired of bad narration. There are too many bad ones. The price of this is the same as a regular poor narration as well. The storyline was great too.

Great narration

It is difficult to listen to this audiobook with all the background noise- it is a bit ridiculous- but i got used to it. The real problem is that some sections of the book are missing from the audiobook!!! Sometimes the story line made no sense because of it, i had to go back to the book to figure out what was missing

Why does Lily sound like a 54 year old trucker named Large Marge? Totally throws the story off!

Really wish Ms Wilks would just go the regular Audio Reader for her books instead of this. All the sound effects and the panting and moaning are just ridiculous and really makes the story silly. Not to mention that unlike other audio books you can switch between reading and listening, on these you can't because they don't do the entire book as its written! They remove sections, sometimes shift their locations in the story sometimes its omitted completely. I guess some things they remove streamlines the story but you miss out on some important and interesting characters.

Disappointed
