About this listen

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars.

That was a long time ago.

My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark.

I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.

Wow

If you could sum up Moth in three words, what would they be?

gripping story telling

What other book might you compare Moth to and why?

His Dark Materials series. The mixture of magical realism, and told with such precision and depth makes this clearly my favorite audio book

What does Eva Kaminsky bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have never listened to an audio book before. Frankly I thought a reader would be distracting but Ms Kaminski actually raised my enjoyment level. I have changed my mind abot audio books

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No

Any additional comments?

Color me surprised. Audio books can be as great as reading yourself. Thanks.

This had been on my bookshelf way too long. Moth is beautiful. the characters are all fascinating and the world building is phenomenal. I'd recommend it to anyone.

enjoyed

i really did not expect much when i started this book but i was surprised. It’s a good book. Good consistent story, the characters are not juvenile are empty- the story moved. I enjoyed it. well except for the girl who keeps treating her friends like dogs... she was a little out of character i think. but over all with the read.

UNINTERESTING!

I found the story slow and boring at times. I was able to finnish, but I had to alot of skipping. Sad part was I didn't really miss anything. When I skipped a chapter ahead it was way to easy to figure out what had happened. Did I mention it was predictable, well it was.
