immigration horror

the narrator voice was to mono tone for me. the violent and horror of traveling to another country is sad. I would have liked more space between each attack.

very violent

This is so violent and devastating I almost threw up in my mouth a few times while listening. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Murder at the Heights

okay,🤷‍♀️ IDK if it was just me, or if some of you got a bit confused at the beginning. but once I got to relax and listen I was intrigued. This story was well-written and the narrator was really good at bringing the characters to life

Good story

The story was fantastic would love to hear more from this author. Although the narrator needs some work, you could tell they had never read the story before. To many pauses at the end of a sentence only to add another word or two proving it wasn’t the end of the sentence.
Over all I did enjoy listening to the story just glad they figured everything out.

A sad Murder

Murder at the Heights is book 4 in A Faye-Lynn Johnson Mystery by Ricky Corum. This story is a work of fiction, but, I believe that it is so realistic that it could be taken from today's news. The story follows a teenage Mercedes as she leaves home to illegally smuggle into the US. I thought that the author did a good job of looking at Mercedes coming to America in one chapter then looking at the murder in the next chapter. I thought that the book solved the murders, but, my heart was sad for Mercedes. Murder at the Heights is an excellent book and Cassandra Arnold gives a solid performance in the narration.
