One of my Favorite stories of all time.

Somewhat different from the Japanese translation. Still amazing. They’ve added so much! There is a lot of story I’ve never heard before. I love it!!

Great LN, if you liked the anime you'll love this

Great story and amazing reading. The narrator did a great job with the voices and pacing of the reading, clearly a professional.

the long awaited battle has finally succumbed

I've been waiting for this battle in the big reveal in volume 20. it's been such a great journey built up to this climax of a story.

Cliff Kurt is awesome

I gotta say, listening to this series from the first book to now has been an AMAZING experience. Cliff Kurt is genuinely THE best choice for this book. I really wish he did the rising of the shield hero book honestly. Genuinely unreal how his rudeus voice is the rudeus I hear now, I can't imagine the japanese VA or the english VA anymore. It just seems like he's had so much fun doing this series somehow, Like he's the real deal. I don't know. Regarding the story though, It's been pretty awesome. I'm kinda sad I'm completely caught up on everything though(audiobook wise) I can't wait until the next one comes out, Wish I could preorder it. I love this series, and this world. feels like we're in the end game though. also I probably should've said this on the last book but (Spoiler warning))))))

I hate how the author is trying their best to force a relationship between ruijerd and norn. it's cringe man. I would've been fine if he didn't know her as a literal child and compared him to her father. That just gives gross vibes, they made it seem like Norn thought of ruijerd as her dad and now she's in love with him. that's realllyyy weird man. I wouldn't have minded if Norn met ruijerd when she was older and fell in love that way and there was no comparison to paul. but that's not the case, and now it feels like she's kinda ruining the relationship between rudeus and ruijerd in a way, as if she knows ruijerd better than rudy. I dunno. I'm sure I'm alone in this but the reunion between rudeus and ruijerd was kinda ruined by norn for me. Ruijerd is like my fav character besides Orsted. maybe Sandor as well lol. so it really upsets me I guess
