About this listen

He doesn’t do relationships. She doesn’t do flings. Everything they thought is about to unravel....

Frankie

When you say you're a sexologist, people imagine Marilyn Monroe. They don't expect a woman who uses a wheelchair. As the host of the All Access Podcast, I'm breaking barriers, crushing stigmas, and creating sexual connections that are fulfilling for my fans. I'm like cupid, but with pink hair and fewer diapers.

Only, I've hit a snag. A lovely listener wants some advice about accessible rope play and I'm drawing a big fat blank. Which leaves me with no option but to get out there and give it a go.

Which is how I meet Jay Wood - rigger, carpenter, and all-around hottie.

I'd be open to letting him wine and dine me - only Jay isn't my type. He's not a one-girl kind of guy. Monogamy isn't even in his vocab, and I'm not a woman who'll settle for being the second choice.

But the closer we get, the more Jay has me tied up in knots.

And it's making me think - maybe I could compromise and accept a little Wood in my life. Even if it's only temporary.

Jay

Frankie's funny, intelligent, and ridiculously sexy. This should be a no-brainer. A little fun in the sheets, and a little romp with some ropes - simple.

Only the infuriating woman is asking for more. I'm not that kind of guy. I wouldn't even know how to be that kind of guy. I'm the definition of easy.

It'll be fine.

Except...why does my heart feel frayed? And why is it I can't help but consider taking the ultimate leap of faith - tying myself to Frankie? Permanently.

It hit me in ALL the feels.

This book is so sweet. It hit me in ALL the feels.

The MC is a pink haired, pink wheelchair riding PhD holding sexologist and therapist that’s equal parts sugar and spice. She talks openly about her disability and the good and bad that comes with chronic pain and chronic illness in the “All Access” podcast she does about inclusivity in sex, relationships, and life.

The guy is a damaged soul, after growing up in foster care then having a relationship gone horribly wrong. He’s a (literal) lumberjack and a Dom at the local kink club, where he teaches lessons on accessible rope play for people with disabilities.

Handles disabilities without making you feel like you’re reading “inspiration porn.” Or without making you feel sorry for anyone.

So so so sweet, romantic, emotional. Rich, complex, colorful, dynamic characters.

One of the Best Books I've Ever Read

This book caught my attention because Jacob Morgan is one of my favorite narrators. I absolutely loved this book! Love the depth of characters, the unique storyline, the romance and the dual narration. One of the best books I've ever listened to and will be keeping it to relisten. Highly recommend!

Great narration, mediocre story

I love the premise of the story, and the female lead is fun, the guy, I think, is a bit flat. The story has grammatical issues, and the sex scenes all have the exact same vocabulary, and thus felt stale.

Totally my type

I had never heard of this series before it popped up on my audible page recommendations, so I decided to take a chance. Boy, was that a good decision. 1) The characters are just awesome. I love their personalities and they all seem so real with real life issues and challenges. In a world that is now a little too fake and perfect, this book was utter perfection and a nice change of pace. The narrators were also perfect, both for the characters and just the storytelling in general.

If you are like me and tend to read/listen things only in your niche, please take a chance on this one, because you won't be sorry. I can't wait to listen to book 2.

Cute and good representation

Along with an adorable story, I love the visibility and reflection of communication it takes as an individual with disabilities to have successful relationships. Most stories with BDSM/bondage don’t display the good boundaries, communication, and need for aftercare. We need more healthy stories that don’t glorify poor boundaries and doms/tops/riggers in misguided and abusive portrayals.

Knot My Type

New author to me and really it was the cover that caught my eye.
Then I saw the narration and I had to get it.

I quiet enjoyed it. I liked that just because Frankie can’t use her legs in the way everyone else is accustom to doesn’t mean she is any different than the next person. Does she have to do things in a slightly different manner? Yes, but she is thriving. I love that she isn’t afraid to talk about her chair or her needs all in the same breath. That she is fiercely independent.

Jay well I just loved his character I like that he doesn’t see the chair but he sees Frankie. Sometimes he forgets the chair and that is good and bad. He has a lot of baggage but you can’t blame him.

The narration Jacob Morgan is fantastic or Jay’s character. Lauri Jo Daniels is new to me and I enjoyed her!
