Beautiful

This story brought me to tears. I myself am struggling with self acceptance and how to tell my family about me wanting to transition so hearing the way Parker felt and brought me back to the way I feel and think. Honestly it's a good listen and an eye opening audio book

Wonderful Insights

Thank you for giving such a candid honest glimpse into your life. It has been thought provoking, empathy building, & action inspiring. Sharing your lived experience will most certainly be a lifeline for others who share your struggle as well as an olive branch for friends and family members-or any person really-who struggle to accept or understand those struggles.

love it

loved it, as a Transgender female myself I love hearing the coming out stories of others. So many parallels between me and you...juat took me way longer to allow myself to come out. As of this review I'm 32 and 5 months on HRT (pills) and 2 months out in every way. My outfits are more goth androgynous kinda. thank you so so much for making this and putting out there for a trans women like me to find and know there are people just like me and know I'm not alone.

Deeply moving

This is a very moving memoir. Well-read by the author, in its descriptive yet direct style it lays out the author’s experiences that led her to acknowledge that she is a woman and make the transition from how she was misidentified before. The honesty of the narrative is felt in every sentence. Whether one is in touch with trans issues or not, this is a moving and worthwhile book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. While I have friends and family that are transgender so these issues are not unknown to me, this book still genuinely impacted me and spurred me to further action.
