Bazinga

This was a compilation of short stories. Some were more enjoyable then others. Some stories were like short affirmations and others made you think about yourself. I enjoyed the narration by Brett Rockwood. I enjoy short stories and this book was an easy listen. I'd recommend it to others.

Disclaimer: My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to or will listen to multiple times. I'll update my review if I listen again.

I requested this book from the author, narrator, or publisher in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Bad narration, so so stories

The narration is the biggest problem. It is very monotone and the narrator doesn't seem to have taken the time to understand the stories and provide meaningful inflection and tone. It comes across as very wooden. There are also a few cases where words were mispronounced. The stories themselves are okay, but feel like the beginning works of a writer struggling to find his voice.
